    Here's my bit

If you have the little 5 pound-15 pound weights that you use with your hands

grab them and punch the air with them in your hands

tires me really fast and then when you put the weights down after like 15 minutes of punching air

Now try throwin a few punches without the weights . Your arms feel REALLY light

    Feels Nice.....

anyone got anything they wanna share?

you can do that with your feet too. get sum ankle weights and wear them EVERYWHERE! do everything in them. walk, jump, run, skip, sleep. make them part of your body. then after while take them off. yoou will flllyy!!!
just a werd of caution. the weights tend to put a lot of pressure on your heal and can scratch up yo ankle. buut its wooorrthh it!

Well i do sit ups at night like 100- 200 a night. it helps loose extra tummy weight. But a better way is to do labor jobs. As far as eating goes a good trick is to eat veggies and frui. have atleast 8 oz of meat a day like chicken is the best. Stay away from sweets and pop.
Drink water when u exercise i was told that powerade and gatorade are not to good for u when u are thirsty unless they are watered down.

    Meh, i'll just give tips on what i did before a Tae kwon do tournament;

    * No sleep but plenty of rest for 2 days... with average exercise in between (Lack of sleep wasnt intended & by average... sit ups, press ups, crunchies, stretching etc)... makes u kinda alert in the paranoid/psychotic way
    * Full contact sparring the week before... just getting fit
    * Went to event with fairly heavy bag & "heavy hands"... heavy weight theory
    * 2 cans of red bull... amplified sleep deprevation alertness
*2 cocodamol tablets... just incase i injured myself before the fight, wouldnt feel it

Suffice to say i won the tournament... only had to fight 5 people that day anyway. I wouldnt advise this method for more than 2-3 times though.

Angel from hell that's pretty hardcore stuff! I used to enter karate/kenpo/kajukenbo tournaments, and I just did everything naturally except for a lil energy drink half an hour before fighting. (I never did beat more than 1 guy... :( ). But at least I've gotten a 2nd place trophy for forms/kata at a black gi tournament, and 1-2 silver medals for forms/kata at white gi tournaments.

As for exercising, I suggest Legendary Abs for ab workouts. Whenever you stock up on a LOT of water (like before a race or tournament), don't drink all that water by itself. You'll end up diluting the electrolytes in your system, and your body will likewise get rid of the excess water (you'll pee ever half hour). So instead, balance the water you drink with "salts" (sports drinks have the right balance of salts, so drink those instead).

For dieting, my brother reccommends drinking a glass of water at night (slowly and casually) with a slice of lemon in it. After maybe 15-30 minutes the lemon won't be that sour anymore. Eat the lemon slice whole (it'll taste like candy) and drink the rest of the water. As you sleep, it "cleans your system," and in the morning you'll take a "nice dump." My brother kept this up for a while and he lost some weight. He taught it to a cousin and she also lost maybe 10 pounds within 1-2 months.

It depends on what you want...

I have a really muscular body and I'm really tall, and I like to stay strong. When i work out, I do 1/2 hour of carido, followed by 15 minutes of stretching, then 1/2 of weight lifting.

Cardio: Treadmil, 6-7 miles an hour, incline 3.
    Stretching: Whatever loosens ya up
Weight: Leg Press: start at your own body weight (for me that's 130 lbs) and add 20 pounds each rep.
    Dumbells (start out at 20)
    Abdominals: 50 pounds
Any other machine I do 50-60 pounds, more if it's easy. ^_^

    As for food:
Eat protien first becuase it fills you up. Drink 10 glasses of water a day. Eat 10 servings of veggies a day. Have fruit for snacks. If you want a treat, get the reduced fat version. I have my once-a-week day where I eat WHATEVER I want. Yum.

    AND MOST OF ALL!!!
Nobody can be perfect. Embrace your body for what it is! Don't obsess over your weight or figure! Everyone has a little fat on them, no matter what! Eat what you want but keep track of it and remember to have FUN!! DON'T LET FITNESS TAKE OVER YOU, LET IT BE FUN!!!

Dude that's ridiculous. Before my Tae Kwon Do tournaments or championships I eat something good the night before and for breakfast. Then I stretch and warm- up. We really don't need to use the bags. As for sparring, that's a proven way to lose some extra pounds. All that fighting and gear makes it fun and well... exciting.

Ridiculous maybe... but i was sick of only coming 3rd or less in tournaments.

& losing weight... i just did that to keep fit, i was still about 13 stone... only way ive ever lost weight was with food poisoning... i wont go into detail of how that helped :s

Now have a job & no time for TKD... staying at an average 14 1/2 stone... works like a sauna though (30-40 degree's... keep in mind im in Scotland which goes about 14-17 degree's)... so i'll be gradually losing weight through that :p

Well, first of wall you must stop eating junk food then drink lots of water. It actually helps you have a clear completion.

My favourite form of exercise is yoga. With some styles you get a cardio/strength and flexibility workout all in one. The breathing is different from lifting as you breathe in on exertion, not out. Yoga has a way of releasing blocked energy in the body, so that you feel more energetic.

Here's what I do to stay slim:

    1.Sit around and do nothing.
2.Eat as much as you want.
    3.Hardly exercise.

Of course it helps to have an awesome metabolism like mine.:p Now aren't you all jealous?:)

Huh... according to that site, i eat healthier than i thought, granted i do miss out on the eating fruit & veg bit (Tend to make me sick :S). plenty of milk & lots of bread... everything grilled, i guess super noodles count as pasta... only un healthy thing i eat is occasional sweet (at work... no time to eat sweets now... unless i find some in the work :p) & kebab when i go out on weekends... i guess the beer aint to healthy either though... guess i'll just stick to spirits then :D

    Anyways

As for water... it aint as healthy as it's meant to be round here... flurine/fluride/whatever in the water... tends to do harm, & i need the caffeine from soft drinks to stay awake & generally move.

I exersise pretty regularly. I've done competitive gymnastics since I was in 3rd grade and I'm going to be a freshman in high school soon.(wow, I've been at this awhile)

Before competitions I like to have done at least five days of gymnastics the week before, and I try to add in running every weekend. I also try to eat my carbs the night before. I usually bring along a gatorade or powerade in my bag. It's simple, but it works.

As for eating habbits, mine are okay, but I'm not very good about staying off the soda. Anyone know any good drinks that are good for you? I'm person who really likes sweet drinks, so substitutes are very welcome.
