    Hopefully I'll be able to buy an external hard drive. Is there anything I should be aware of? As [this might sound stupid or silly, but please, bare with me ^^;] the HD's speed, if it differs than my laptop's, would it harm it??

    I might as well buy a fan for my laptop, it gets heated up pretty quick. I know nothing about fans, suggestions? ^^;

    Are we talking about computer fans or these kind of fans? ;)

    The fan for a laptop is basically in two sizes (Correct me if I am wrong). I think it's 25x25 and 40x40. Check out what yours is and than buy a suitable one.

    lol, that sounds cool, yet weird.

    I use a DELL laptop, Inspiron 2650. Does these two fans (25x25 & 40x40) apply to laptops??

    Hmm, I know that 40x40 and 25x25 are suitable for laptops, don't know what your Dell have though...

    Just buy a fan pod.

    It runs of USB, so it'll drain your batteries unless you plug the laptop into your wall.

    I suggest these, because they're relatively inexpensive, and people generally don't use their laptops on their LAPS for such extended periods of time that it begins to rapidly heat up. =P

    I don't care much about the price (unless it was relatively high) as long as what I am spending money on works good and won't get damaged so freaking easly!!

    Anyway, I bought an externa HD pretty good price. 160 GB, RPM 7200 and a 2.0 USB, wish me luck on setting it ^^;
