Fruits Basket Eye Color

You know not many Fruits Basket people have correct eye color. Do you know why this is? :bleed: :sad:

 

sorry, i don't i only know the black and white eye colors.. ^__^

 

what do you mean by correct exactly? if it's why the sohma eye colours are strange it's because those cursed are all born with hair and eye colours resembling that of they're animal.
e.g
haru:black and white like a cow.
kisa: sort of goldy orange colour like a tiger.

 

Like vonniesmiles says, the colouring of the characters depends on thier zodiac animal. That is why yuki (for example) has grey hair and purple eyes: because rats usually have grey fur and purple eyes.

 

I've never seen a rat with purple eyes. Most of them either have black or red eyes (white rats have red).

I heard it actually has nothing to do with the characters themselves...It was something about how the eyes look with the hair,they have to flow together.I guess that makes sense when you think about it...I mean who could see Yuki having silver hair and Brown or hazel colored eyes?It would just look weird

 

Well...Ayame has yellow-green eyes. It would resemble him as a snake. Plus....he looks incredibly sexy that way...^_~

 

I actually don't understand why anime characters have to have similar hair and eye colours, it doesn't work like that in reality, hair colour should not determine eye colour.

 

Actually the colour pigments of your hair, eyes and skin are all connected and depend on the same genes, which is why a lot of people with brown hair have brown eyes and why you very rarely see dark-skinned people with blonde hair.

At least, i think that's right.....

 

well, lets just say because they are sexy they get sexy eyes! lol but its true if they had brown or blue eyes they would totally look funky...it wouldnt look right. its anime! anuthing is possible in anime! ><
