Psychology Face.......Transplant..........?

I was gonna put this in the wastebasket forum, but I can't make a thread there so....... what the *me* are these people thinking?!?

 

the best plastic surgery there is. if what they argued was true,(only to repair accidental blahblah) i'd say "awesome". but it will find its way into the hearts and minds of america, and people will be completely changing their faces for cosmetic applications. pointless crap.

The odd thing about this, is that there is probably one body and face type that people consider the norm. A 'flawless' face determined culturally depending on which country you live in - of course this face is becoming globalized. Yes, this is a theory, but imagine if everyone had the same face, or the face of the week.

But, for people who have major burns or scars all over their face. I could see this working for them, to restore them to how they looked (or maybe 'prettier' if they decided) before.

This seems more like a debate, but the cultural part of it is a bit psych-ish.

 

Well I put it into the psychology forum because I asked what the *me* they were thinking. So we're talking about people thinking which goes into psychology. But, I'll stick with my own face even if it does get burned or scared.

 

Yes because people routinely transplant body parts for vanity.
