As all the oponents entered the registry area, everyone looked everyone else over. Each team thinking they were better then the next. Maxwell Truisa watched from behind the curtain on the main stage. 'This will be a very interesting tournament to see who will be the next generation of Fade Fighters.' Contestants, Please come to an orderly fashion. We will have a surprise guest to go over the rules of the competion. Everyone rushed to find a seat as the announcement finished. Ladies and Gentlemen, It gives me great pleasure to present to you, the one, the only, Maxwell Truisa, and the fades that made him the worlds best---Blitze and Gryrel, the twin Drakniks. MT: "It is a pleasure to see all the contestants that have come out for my challenge. There will be three winners of this tournament. The top three will win. And of those three winners, one of you will be given a special invitation to join the great Fade Fighters of the World. Your Fade will help to defend our world against any and all threats to our people." Everyone in the room began to cheer at the top of their lungs......

MT: Easy fella's. There will be plenty of time for stuff like that later. I am interested in seeing what kind of training you have done with your Fades. The Triger is a very complex Fade, and if handled wrongly, can turn against it master. Ah, the loyal Draknix. You, son, have chosen your Fade well. It is in their bloodline to be the best out their. They acquire skills not only in winning their matches, but when they lose them as well. My twin Draknix have lost four fights in their entire life-span---on the other hand, those loses have made them stronger than ever, and they have won over 25,000 matches since. Both Kids: Wow, that's cool MT: Here you go guys. Don't lose those autograph pics. And to you younger Draknix master---I have a feeling I will see you in the top percentage in this tournament.

Please get all your Fades into their contests entries quickly. The first competition begins in just a few minutes. Remember, One on One event. MT: 'This event should weed out most of the trouble makers first. I need to keep my eyes on that young Draknix. I really think it will do very well.'
Athena carried her Unicorn Fade into a room. She saw a couple of guys ahead and appoached them and asked, "I heard that you can form teams later on, could I make a team with you guys, later on?"
gray-hmmm it seems as though the MT likes my fade well drake lets go, the only thing we can do is try our best.
gray stared blankly at athena. 'yeah ok i think that that would be good.' he smiled. ' i think that we should head out now, don't you think kieth, lance.' the crowds began to chear even louder as the anoucments came on. ladies and gentlemen we are pleased to anounce the first wave of contestents....... 'oh no if we don't hurry then were gonna miss the game...' gray ran ahead of the group.
Athena giggled, "Someone's over excited." They all signed up quickly and waited for their instructions.
"Ladies and Gents, the first event will pit cunning against cunning. The true test of your Fades. This event is a best 2-out-of-3 fall. Contestants approach the arena. MT: 'Ok little guy, show me what you baby dragon can do'
Athena's eyes went wide when she saw the huge arena but soon she had something of her own to occupy her thoughts as another contestant approached her and she had her own match to think about.
As Athena turned to look at her opponent, her jaw nearly dropped. He approached her with a very smug smile on his face. This guy was huge, and his fade was just as big. Athena's Opponent: "Ha, Ha, Ha--this shouldn't take too much of my time. I should be done with you and eating an early lunch within minutes. Listen little lady, my Gordo Fade has twice the strength and speed as your little baby horsie. Save yourself the insult and just submit now. Let me introduce you to Godzuki, I'd say goodluck, but it won't help."
