Scruffiness in an artwork always appeals me, but please trash the lighting effect on the background, you're talented enough to paint something alike yourself
    XD

The scruffyness gives it a comic book style, which suites that picture just fine. Good anotamy and great work on the texture of the wings in my opinion.

It kinda looks like the wings are coming out from the back of his neck though... It could just be me however... :sweat2:

As an avid drawer of stuff with angel wings I'd say that's one for the books. ^_^ :p lol

Wings are actually arms, so it would be pretty accurate the way RaineR placed them: at shoulder height.
Though I have to say, his right wing looks as if placed a bit higher than his left wing.
And I still hate the lightsource effect, it looks too soft compared to the painting itself.

i know the bg is tooo crap.... i always start with a singular lightsources to help with my shading, though in this case i didnt realise i forgot the bg, so i left it as it is. heh

    i think it looks good.
    very dramatic.
it is like it has a deeper meaning than what we see.

I like it alot- very good, shading and coloring and all. But i also think that something seems off about the right wing... maybe. I dunno, im not quite sure how wings would really work on a human (ie im cluesless about angel anatomy)
