Creative Writing Fan Poetry

Although I haven't personally written any of this worth reading (yet), I figured I'll get the ball rolling in this forum with a request from any poet/anime otaku hybrids out there to write us something on a character/series/movie/whatever. It could be cool, ya?
I'll have some up sooner or later. Until then, I look forward to seeing what you can do!

 

March of the Cactuar King

I editted a poem I wrote a while ago, and changed the title. It's a tribute to a favourite of mine, and I'm sure you can tell just what I mean by that.

TEN THOUSAND NEEDLES by GNZ
You may not think I look like much
But I got it where it counts
Though you may swing your sword or spear
Off me they'll always bounce
Just try and use your sorcery
You'll not hear the blow ring
Before you've even thought to run
You'll feel ten thousand needles sting
You called me green and think I'm weak
But say one word and then you'll see
That I am more than meets the eye
There's power hidden within me
If ever you should wrong my kind
My vengeance will be fierce
For I've the needles of conviction
Thousands with which to pierce
So if you're in my oasis
And stand there glaring from the sand
Don't even think of crossing me
For ten thousand needles I command.

Really, not my best work, but I had to give you something, didn't I?

 

Hai! That's good! Speaking of poems, I found some old ones of my parents, I never knew they were so romantic! Well, mushy-stuff aside, I'm somebody who writes alot. Right now, nothing good enough for you guyz!
