    Okay everybody, you're all going to have a chance... in a moment... to take a look at what makes MamiyaOtaru cringe in pain. The one start of a fanfic who's over the top qualities make it so... (not gunna continue that one). MamiyaOtaru has said of this fic, and I quote:
    "eeeewwwwwwww...."
    and
    "very anatomically... eeeewwwwwwww."

    Somewhat of a review for "No Fury Like the Preview":

    JavaLamp let me put this in two simple words: you rock! Not only did you create a wonderful parallel dimension with so many open ended questiosn to keep your audience throughly involved, you kept every single character believable!

    NFLTP is a wonderful trip which takes the question of what if Ranma 1/2 was to be genetically spliced to be some kind of darker reality rather than a comedy. Things are "very anatomically... eeeewwwwwwww" at times, but it just fits in so perfectly, and I'm sure there are other Ranma 1/2 fans who've been dying for this kind of bloodshed.

    All in all, a wonderous tapestry of realism, mystery, and wonder...(wait scratch the wonder, just don't sound right)...and I can't wait for more! Gimmie more!

    BakaMattSu, loved the nod to Eva in the 'ICEQUEEN' portion...Were there any other "cameos" by anime characters in there?

    /me decided to finally get a registered nick here

    and yes, I have been actively writing more, Chapter 1 is in the works, as well as a tone-down (like I mentioned) of the preview, which probably could be more correctly described as a prologue, as a preview would suggest that it shows stuff that will appear elsewhere in context. While there are some things that will appear later, that's more of a stylistic thing, and not actual scenes.
    I'll keep posting links here, and eventually I'll build a site for it.

    Also! If anyone reads this and has a question about what will happen later, let me know, there's likely something I forgot that I need to explain later.

    Yes, there are other cameos, but I tend to keep them very low profile, people will have to carefully look for them (nothing is safe from my cameos!)

    Only I think my main problem with cameos is I have to actually know the reference material to catch the reference to it...

    Well, that's one of the reasons I bury them (cameos that is) those who don't know the reference will never know, and it won't matter, those who do know, will silently pat themselves on the back for having found them

    Good question, one for which I have no answer, It's just fortunate that Ranma is a fairly timeless anime, it could be set about anytime (anytime that has jet aircraft, that is).

    oh yeah, I might as well say it, I'm working on page 4 of chapter 1 in NFL... I'll probably bang out a few pages today, maybe even enough to post for some pre-reading.
