    Happy made-by-the-card-companies-holiday-to-make-sales day! :p

    Seriously, I don't believe in father's, mother's or valentines' day. Why not? Because you shouldn't need a special day to treat them to something. Mothers, Fathers, and, of course, sweethearts, should celebrate their relationships EVERY day. Not just on these few days of the year.

    Still, I'd give my dad a call, if I had a number.

    i agree with you Shinryu on the celebrating every day thing, i view fathers day, mothers day etc etc more as a 'going-that-extra-mile' kinda day for the people who are close to me...not a "im gunna ignore you until this day and then show you i love you" kinda thing =P i think thats dumb but i think too many people do that sadly...

    My father meant a lot to me, and every one should really notice that it wasn't only the mother her brushed you off when you were dirty or fed you when you cried all night..It was your dad too. And everyone should love both figures for every thing they do in our lives.. :D

    Yeah, every day really should be a time to celebrate and spend as much time as possible with family.. considering that about every day is a feast day anyways.. today it's St. Paulinus of Nola day.

    Cheers to dads on this.. day after the special day for them!

    At any rate, happy father's day to all fathers in the world. Although everyday should be special, this one must be more special than all the others!

    I was told not to get anything for my dad by both my parents and concentrate on exams... I'll treat them for some "dim sum" after it's all over.

    I'm late in posting, but I did get my father a gift and let him know I really think he's something else. Not sure what that something is though :p Love goes out to all Fathers: Keep up the great job!

    No, but if it's a special day, they should be treated SPECIALLY good that day.
