Hey! Just thought it would be interesting to see your favorite movie this summer and why.
Mine would be Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
    I'm a Harry Potter Freak I guess.

To be honest i don't think that there were really any great movies this year, i was a little disapointed.
So far i think that Spider-Man 2 tops the lot. Although i think that Dodgeball looks good "If you can dodge cars, you can dodge balls!" :D, so far i've only seen a trailer for it. Alien vs Predator looks ok as well, i'd watch that to see the batles between the aliens and the predators.

I saw DodgeBall with my friend and it was hilarious!!
    It's definetly worth seeing.
I almost cried from laughing!(or it could have been the smell from my friend's fart. Gross, I know)

Spiderman 2 was pretty much my favorite, but I liked "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" too. I can hardly even remeber if that was this summer or not at this stage o_O .

ok, so far I've only seen SpiderMan 2, Chronicles of Riddick and The Bourne Supremacy .. was Harry Potter even a summer movie? well I saw that too. interesting enough, HP would be on the bottom of this list.
I was surprised that Riddick was any good, it was really good, and I don't care much for Vin Diesel flics. I think, because I disliked Pitch Black, I thought its sequel to be poorly done as well, but heck Judy Dench was in it. The Bourne Supremacy I saw last night and it was just amazing.. the car chase and everything. but fave this summer I'd still pick SpiderMan 2. I'm not voting yet since I haven't seen I Robot, The Village or King Arthur yet.

I hated Pitch Black, but i'm actually looking forward to seeing Riddick, looks good. One film that i'm waiting to see (next to Dodgeball) is The Terminal, i think would be a really interesting film.

Duh! Harold and Kumar Goe to White Castle!

BEST SUMMER MOVIE! Why? Because it's amazingly funny, in a sometimes smart way, and sometimes in a very blunt way, and sometimes in a really "Dumb and Dumber" way.

Hrm. Of all the movies that are MADE in 2004, I would say "Shi Mian Mai Fu". Beautiful camera work by the best director (Or maybe not..) from China, Zhang Yimou (Hero).

The story is simple, but man, the Camera works baby!

Whoa, that list is missing a bunch of decent movies, like Troy, The Terminal, Dodgeball, and Harold & Kumar. I picked Spiderman 2 though.

Yeah sphinxy is right- plus some of those were rather popular. And I didn't think there were that many great films out this summer. (LAST summer we had PoTC!)
I guess I pick Spiderman 2... it was a pretty good sequel. I haven't seen many of the others... I wanted to see I, Robot, Catwomen, and The Village, but my friends all told me they were "ok" movies and I shouldn't bother.
