Paranormal Favorite mythological god/goddess?

Well, there are literally thousands you can choose from. Greek, Roman, Norse and such. I think my favorite is Artemis. She was the Virgin goddess, daughter of Zeus and Leto. She's often portrayed as a hunter which I love. She's like the original amazon, and she tends to stand her own.

I was always a big fan of Odin's ravens, Huginn and Munnin (Thought and Memory). Also, his wolves, Freki and Geri (Fierce and Greed, I believe). Yeah, not real Gods or Goddesses and such.

I loved Loki too, very twisted and, in my eyes, admirable in an interesting sense, character. And can't help but love his three main kids (Fenris/Fenrir, Jormungand and Hel/Hela).

 

Hmmm I love greek mythology. Have to say Aphrodite.. I used that username I dunno how many times. The goddess of love, desire, and beauty..

 

Ah, I always must say all or one of the brothers, if we go by Greek mythology... Poisidon and Hades... Zeus is too... I don't like the god. When it comes to Egyptian: Bastet. I like my cat/lioness women. Though Hathor, goddess of love, is cool, because she's Egyptian, but you can connect her to Greek and Roman myth. She is a cow though... And I like Anubis. Gosh, I miss Egyptian mythology... they don't have that in my high school...

I love Artemis. I did a report on her in my freshman English class last year, and my teacher was impressed by how in depth my studies were. I love mythology, it's just one of my things I guess.

 

My fave is the Devourer of Souls, which eats the souls of the wicked in Egyptian mythology. Can't get much cooler than that. I'm also mighty partial to the Dagda, from Irish mythology. He was more of a hero, but he possesed godly powers. He once ate a cauldron full of oatmeal that could fit 8,000 men, and still fought the next day, killing hundreds. Course, then there's also Cu Chullain, who killed 40,000 men while stabbed through the heart into a stone pillar. Badass indeed.

 

Hm.. Anyone know much about Indian mythology? Like from India?

I like Thor, Odin, Set, Thoth, Sekhmet, and Amaterasu.

Anyway real gods mine are for Greek Icarus, Artemis, Poseidon, and I always like Hera.
