You are probably wondering why i meant by that.

Well, movies that are foregin, i.e: Amelie from Montmatre ( French ), Hero ( Chinese ), All about My Mother ( Spanish ), It's A Wonderful Life ( La Vita Belle ) ( Italian ), Lilja 4-ever ( Swedish ) etc etc.

Mine are basiclly those i wrote as "exampels".

    Which are Yours?

I really liked a Dutch film I saw called Babette's Feast. It's about a French expat living in Holland with a bunch of Puritans. She used to be a famous chef but now has to work as a servant to earn her keep. She wins the lottery and uses all her money to serve a proper French meal with all the trimmings and good wine. The Puritans, who avoid such excesses fail to appreciate the genius of her talent

I also liked a German movie called Sheer Madness. It was a feminist movie about some woman who got the courage to leave her abusive husband from a friend of hers. Overall, I usually prefer foreign films to American ones.

I saw a good British film called Brassed Off ages ago. Actually, I think it had a Ewan Magregor-before-he-was-famous in it.
