Animal Crossing and Total Annihilation are two wonderful games that while popular are both overshadowed by other games.

hmm I gotta say Secret of Mana.

now you're gonna say that it's really famous somewhere but in Sweden it was never really released so it's "not so popular" here. We bought it after we rented it at a store and they wanted to sell it for 100 Swedish smackers (thats about 10 dollars).

ya that game was a pretty fun game. alot of the older games for like atari and nintendo and stuff were pretty cool. thre so outdated its funny, but they still have better plots than some games today. i dont have a favorite not so popular game, cuz i cant think of one. but the game on nintendo where you raced rc cars was a favorite of mine.

Umm... I Actually enjoyed Messiah, even though the game had a lot of bugs and was rather "inpopular"...

Cool Story, and it was a new "way" to play video Games :)

    lesse, favorite under appreciated game...
    record of lodoss war...
that game is just awesome. but, not many copies were made in total, and distribution went stupid. all in all, you had like, 3 months after it came out to buy it. wasn't very popular, but the ppl that got it mostly loved it. tho, i had to have ppl explained to me as i've never fully watched lodoss war...seen the beginning, seeen the end, missed the middle...

The Lodoss game was only available for a few months, much like Dragonball GT: Final Bout in the US.

The Lodoss game was released for Dreamcast in early 2001, by mid summer it had all but vanished from store shelves. Take a fairly unpopular system coupled with a fairly unpopular anime based game = short shelf life.

bwahahaha you can tell how hard to find it is, by trying to find it used, and then realizing you'd be paying the same price if you could find it new. kidna like intelligence cube(which i will hunt down and own!!!) it's hard to find, and expensive, but worth it. (I.C. is an intelligence test btw)

Legend of Mana. Without a doubt. Haven't played Secret of Mana, but I love Legend of Mana. Lisa's the best. ^^
    Animal Crossing as well. ^^
Yu-Gi-OH: Forbiddon Memories.... Ah who am I kidding I onyl like it because I love watching Seto tlak. HIS LIPS MOVE!!!! And he's got the hottest eyes in that game and is just so darn evil >.< Plus Anzu is onyl half as annoying as she is in the series. ^^
Lunar counts in this category as well.

Wow. Now that I think about it, most of my favorite games are low-key. I loved (and I mean LOVED) Secret of Mana, I thoroughly enjoyed Illusion of Gaia, Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games for GCN, as is Cubivore. Fun times.

Well for me it's gotta be Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear X2, I own both and it's a really good fighting game, with characters you don't even know, which makes it more fun to play. It'd probably make a good anime/manga but it's a great fighter, play it if your tired of MvC/MvC2.

Also Legend of Dragoon, that game was pretty good being produced in America, because Japan usually comes out with all the great RPG's.
