    This was inspired by the thread "Can You Cook?" by Kuroi Kisa

    My favorite recipe is a puerto rican one, I live there ^_^;
    Is tradicional food... commonly around christmas time...

    Rice /w Pigeon Peas and Pork ribs *is super yummy food, you guys*

    2 cups of rice
    1 pound of pork ribs (I like it with many ribs)
    1 12oz can of Pigeon Peas (dry kind) they look like brownish grey not green
    1 8oz can of tomato sauce
    3 Bay leaves
    1 chopped red pepper
    2 tablespoons of "sofrito" Supposedly is called "condiment" in english
    1/2 a packet of curiander & annato seasoning

    Stir-fry the pork on the pot (a big one) add ALL the seasonings. Stir fry until the meat is cooked all the way (tasting part). correct seasonings to taste. add peppers and tomato sauce, simmer a bit. then the rice and cover with water... and imagine your doing rice, don't have to worry about the meat it's already cooked and if the rice breaks down (like getting to be like a paste) then worry that tends to be kinda normal. I tastes way better the day after you cook it.

    I really can make things without thinking about them... I just know it in my brain and body...

    If anyone ever moved where all of our ingredients are kept... I WOULD KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I know exactly where everything is kept...

    heh i can make a pretty ok spaghetti lol

    big freaking pot o' water...add a bit of salt(use your better judgement) and about 2 caps worth of vegitable oil to the water...
    let it boil...
    ...
    ok, it's boiling...now, add the noodles you bought from the store...
    boil the noodles for a while. they're done when you can get a noodle to stick to the wall, roof, cabinet, what have you. (do NOT eat the test noodles...gods only know what they jsut touched...especially if they fell....)

    before the noodles are done, (before the noodle test) set up a sauce pan and get to making the spaghetti sauce...whatever you bought works...*^-^* follow instructins for that...

    drain the noodles and yum yum time...lol
    nothing original, but well...better than mac & cheese..

    hm... I've never tried this recipe though I've eaten it before in restaurants..

    Fried Ice Cream

    Ingredients
    vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
    1 cup corn flakes, crushed
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    honey or chocolate sauce
    whipped cream

    Directions
    Combine corn flake crumbs, sugar and cinnamon in a shallow pan. With any ice cream scoop, make 6 ice cream balls. Roll ice cream balls in sugared crumbs; place on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Freeze for 5 hours. Five minutes before serving take ice cream out of freezer. Place each ice cream ball on a serving plate and garnish with honey or chocolate and whipped cream.

    It sounds hard to make, but it's really nice to eat... though I haven't dared try it yet, in case i make a mess....
