Neon Genesis Evangelion Favorite Scene??? (May Contain Spoilers)

    Okay, I'm putting this up to try and bring life into the forum.

    What was your favorite part of Eva? Great series and all, what's the real kicker for you? What gave you the strongest emotions?

    I have no real idea what my DEFINITE favorite is, but I loved the beginning. There were so many conflicting emotions on ONE side of the battle that it was exciting...even though no one knew why the angels attacked. Suzuhara's concern, Kensuke's excitement, Rei's indifference, Shinji's...wimpyness, Misato's concern for her new charge. It all made it human...and just made me watch it through ep. 26 and the movie.

    Errr...by the way...what IS the deal with Koji and Misato at the end? Are they lovers again? Or nothing happened? That part always confused me to the utmost.

    Well, time to put one piece of art up that never fails to give me a smile.

    Unit one goes berserk, regrows an arm, and eats an angel, ingesting an s² engine. not necessarily in that order, haven't seen it in a while.
    at the end of what.. The scene of them in the movie was a flashback I think.. (not sure if that's what you're talking about

    Okay, ummm, before all the **** hits the fan, in a big way. Before the flashback, before the movie, but at the very tail end of the series.


    Yes, that part was all good fun...especially the growing an arm part. Seemed like a very masculine arm Unit-1 has...

    I liked most of the scenes in Evangelion(some help that is ^^). But one of the more memorable scenes for me was in End of Eva when Shinji finally stood up to kick some arse, and all of the Angels were attacking him, but he was like "I will kill you"(he didn't say that really...). Another fav of mine was when Unit 03 attacked and ate 04 ( or was it 5?).

    I really need to watch EVA again.

    There are I think three ways that scene could be translated, and Seraphims is the one with the question. I don't recall there being a questioning statement, but it's still in context.

    "I feel sick."
    "What is this digusting feeling?"
    "And I hate this."

    There might be others, but those are the ones I find most frequently used.

    Sorry to post again, but did anyone else notice that at that particular part, Asuka had the same exact bandages in opposite locations as Rei?

    I always thought that was kinda freaky, plus the fact that she wasn't shouting at Shin-man. o_O

    yep, we must all trust the fansubbers. they are godz after all.

    I've heard all those, plus someone saying he thought it implied she had morning sickness hehe.

    I think we should ditch all those translations, and just go with "blaargh"

    hm....fav scene...well the one that I liked the most was when Eva 03 got infected with the 13th angel and Shinji wouldnt fight it, so they turned it over to the dummy plug and Unit 01 ripped it all to pieces, it was real emotional how shinji was still in there, experiancing the murder of it, then when Unit 01 grabs the entry plug and just squeezes....very emotional...

    second fav scene is the whole alternate ending shinji creates in his mind, it was funny to see the characters like that, brought a smile to my face after being deathly confused...but then I went insane a few mins later...:glazed:

    Rei was awesome when she acted like a normal school girl. Hehe, man...it was worth watching just for that.

    And Gendo...he was still...errr...Gendo.

    My favorite scene is prob, in episode , Rei charges at the 14th Angel (Zeruel) with the N2 mine. In fact that entire episode is my favorite. With shinji desiding to not pilot the unit-01 any more and his conversation with Kaji is quite powerfull. Oh and the way Grendo says "This is the begining" at the end is realy cool :D

    My faovorite scene......

    WARNING!!!! SPOILERS!!!!!





    I would have to say the scene where Kawaru(spelling) was discovered to be the 17th angel,when he was descending into Central Dogma,the way the music of "Ode to Joy" enhanced that scene was awesome....I have watched that scene at least 15 times.....:D

    Possable my favourite is the scene where Unit 1 goes beserk inside the big spherical/shadow angel and then just tears it's way out with blood gushing everywhere and the orchestral track in the background. Great stuff.
