Music Favorite song to karaoke to?

I'm not sure if a thread was ever posted like this before . . . but I'm going to go ahead and do this anyway (sorry to administration if this has been done before!).

I don't know how many people here go to conventions, but one of my favorite events is karaoke. So what's your favorite anime/videogame song to karaoke to? I just got into karaoke, by singing "Melodies of Life" and the opening of Lunar: Silver Star Story (I don't know the name of the song, but if you've played the game you know what I'm talking about).

Yes, I'm a guy, but I *can* sing them well . . . ^_^

I also really like singing Flying Teapot from Cowboy Bebop and Currents from Suikoden's arranged soundtrack "Orrizonte."

I have never been to a karaoke place. My cousins go to them often, but I don't really bother.

 

Well . . it doesn't necessarily have to be at a "karaoke place."

I guess I'll broaden the topic a bit. What are your favorite songs that you love to crank up the music to and sing along with?

The one actual karaoke I actually did was at a hotel bar at a convention, and I sang Fly Me to the Moon.

My friends actually got the crowd to do the wave.

I was one of the more popular acts because of all the insane crap the audience ended up doing.

I think I have to go for SailorVenus' Image song--Setsunakute Ii (I Stand Alone). I really love this song, 'coz it really has meaning to it...

 

well, i did kareoke when i was about 5, i cant remember what i sang!! cos im 14 now!!! lol but i would like to sing "Video killed the Radio star" its a good oldie, plus its on my "dancing stage EUROMIX" for my dance mat on playstation

I've never been to a convention. Besides, whenever my friends and I want to do karaoke, we just go to a karaoke place! We mostly went while we were in 12th grade.

I don't have any true favorite songs to sing, but I/we usually end up picking a lot of oldie songs, as well as other songs by Queen, Aerosmith, Prince, Savage Garden, 98 Degrees, etc. Sometimes we go all out and sing embarassing songs, like every Ricky Martin song the place has , someone might do a Britney Spears song , maybe a Jacko song like Beat It , etc.

 

Bouncing around the room by Phish. love that song. I did it with three other guys. Also We will Rock you by Queen. lol. I can't get enough of karaoke.

"Good friends & a bottle of pills" by Pantera always seems to turn a few heads, maybe because of the best starting bit "I ****ed your girlfriend last night" or the insane screaming... *Shrugs*

"Twist" by Korn is an old favourite... again with the insaneness

& recently i found out i can sing like Rob halford "Painkiller" by Judas priest... scary

In my school we had a karaoke contest and i almost won.
I sang to Hatebreed: I will be heard. Guess i almost won because of originality lol
