    i'm a bit partial to metal...but for the most part, i listen to alot of things. it's easier to say what i don't like; that'd be gangsta rap, current r&b(it's trying to sound like rape rap...), and the vast chunk of country. old country pretty intersting...guitar wise anyways...lol

    I listen to alt. rock. That's the best way to categorize it anyway. I don't mean the Good Charlotte MTV alt rock, I mean the good stuff. I have a pretty wide variety of tastes. I like some jazz and punk too.

    I LOVE classic rock, And rap. But I mainly... well no I actually listen to all of them the same amount. I really love new rock to.

    I like a lot of music, especially electronic, classical and classic rock. I really can't stand country music and most of heavy metal. Punk and daft punk appeal to me though.

    Uh, i voted for R'n'B, but i woulda voted for nearly all of them if I could, excluding perhaps trance, an country, although it's not exactly widespread in the UK anyway. I don't really have a particular type I especially listen to, or anything...

    i say Metal!!!!! like AC/DC and the infamamous Metallica!!!!!Seek and Destroy!!!Back in Black!!!!!are my fav metal songs!!!

    Opera
    Classical
    Techno

    But I also like anything that depressing or something that's melody is beautiful.

    Ummm...I don't think it "died". Actually, a lot of people like punk music just like a lot of people like rap and hip-hop. See, I don't like rap because I'm forced to hear it everyday because my brother and my sister listen to it all the time and I just get sick of it. But as for punk rock, I'm sure it didn't "die" because I still listen to just as millions of others do.
