Music Favorite Vocalist

    i like chris cornell alot.

    My current favorite English vocalist is Amy from Evanescence.

    Overall, however, I'd say my favorite vocalist is Risa Ohki. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but she can sing very well in about four (and perhaps more) different languages.

    There are two singers that have voices like no others. When I first heard them, I snapped out of my usual state of nonalcoholic drunken-ness and was completely still for the duration of the songs. Powerful stuff. Music soothes the savage beast, I guess.
    Amy Lee from Evanescence has a voice I can best describe as ethereal. The other is Shakira. Something about her singing just has an effect on me. And of course, she sounds WAY better in Spanish.
    Of course, the people from MOVE are good too, and so is Gordon Lightfoot. And the guy from Powerman 5000 is always fun.

    Overall, I'd have to go with Lee, though.

    Phil Anselmo, definately. Him or the guy from Meshuggah(think his name is Haake, or something). Yup. And Amy Lee's voice is the best female voice out of what else i've heard(which is like Otep and Kittie, so...).

    cadaveria from... cadaveria (and previously opera IX) has a voice... to say if it's nice or not... hard to tell...
    i also like max cavalera ;) from sepultura (and also derek... he's been great on those two dates in dublin)

    jimmy hendrix was nice as well...
