Square Enix Favourite Final Fantasy Music

    What is your favourite song from any Final Fantasy game (or movie, or anime)?

    For me I'd have to go with Setzer's theme in Final Fantasy 6, I don't know why I like it, maybe because it's a classic... and Setzer is my favourite character in FF6 (Mog comes next).

    Another favourite of mine is the Opera House Performance from Final Fantasy 6, and no not the midi one that tries to have midi voices... (lol, mwoo mwwaaariwaa) But there is a vocal version of the song that is all orchestrated, I think that one of the movies that you can get on the PSX version has part of it as well. But the best part in the opera is where Ultros comes out, like 15 minutes in the song and it's just sudden chaos.

    would have to be rydia's theme in ff4. midi or the piano version, it's all good.*^-^* and rosa's is ok too. but then, yeah the opera music in ff6. i still try to sing along with it when i play that part. *^-^*;;;

    Hm. There's so much good FF music, it's rather hard to decide... @.@ Though, my absolute favorite would have to be Terra's theme from FF6. =D

    Kefka's theme is also great, it's so funny. ^_^

    There is a lot of other music in the FF series that I really like, but in my opinion the music from FF6 is the best. What can I say, Nobuo Uematsu is a genius. =)

    I also like terra's theme on ff6. FF7 overworld theme is also good, and so is FFX's Suteki da Ne. and there is a prelude thats pretty hard to find that is pretty good.

    My favourite 3 are, in no particular order...
    One Winged Angel from FFVII, it's the music playing when you're fighting Sephiroth at the end of the game. "SEMINUS!"
    Liberi Fatali from FFVIII, it's the intro music, it's pretty damn cool, so's the intro, damn cool. "ETOS! ETOSAY!"
    Otherworld from FFX, the death metal song playing in the (sotof) intro. It too is damn cool. "YOU! KNOW! YOU! WILL!"
    They all rock.

    Nothing beats the "travelling by Chocobo" music from FFVIII, its got a real beach boys sound to it.

    WOO FF8! That game had the best music from any FF in it! These are the songs I liked!

    Balamb Garden
    Blue Fields (Overworld Map)
    Find Your Way (Fire Cavern)
    The Landing (Attack on Dollet)
    Force Your Way (Dollet battle music)
    Man With a Machine Gun (Laguna Battle Music)

    Theres more but those are my.. uuh... best favourites?

    he's singing the part before it...it's half in latin or something and then in englsih...sephiroth also means something else...grr not sure what...i knew damnit....<sigh> tho, that is an amazing song...i was just so impressed that it had words being sung...lol

    I - The Gurgu Volcano (kind of like what disco would be inside a volcano)
    II - I didn't like the game's music...I didn't like the game :p
    III - The Boss Music kicked!
    IV - This one had my favorite rendition of the opening theme
    V - Gilgamesh
    VI - Toss up between Celes' Theme (o My Hero) and Gogo's Theme
    VII - Cait Sith's Theme/Descendant of Shinobi/Sephy's Theme
    VIII - Mod de Chocobo/Succession of Witches
    IX - Loss of Me/Melodies of Life

    The Boss music is always a fave....but the best would have to be either One Winged Angel, The Turks theme, or the chocobo music!

    The chocobo music has always been really great ;) I'd have to say that I like Final Fantasy 5's version of it the most. And also Mog's theme is just cool in FF6 and FF9(when you get into Mognet Central). I really like the Gurgu Mountain/Volcano theme too, especially in FF9 :p

    Oh and when they played Other World in FF10 I was like "HOLY CRAP!!!" it's the first rock (Well lyric and all) song from a Final Fantasy!

    OK This is my favourite anime song so I'm arguing this all the way through, THE ENTIRE SONG IS LATIN EXCEPT FOR THE WORDS SEPHIROTH. I'll post the lyrics below just to show ya. And the word Sephiroth doesn't mean anything else, BUT the Sephirot is part of the Jewish religion that is very complex, and I don't really understand it at all all, there is a bit about it in Neon Genesis Evangelion if you want to check it out.

    The Crystal Theme! In almost any Final Fantasy, it's one of the few pieces of music that I actually look for. It sounds great as heck in FFX, though I'm sure you only hear it once. (Until you buy the music sphere for it)

    Suteki da ne, too, because it's really...traditional sounding.

    And, the opera in FF6...along with The World of Ruins theme in Piano.
