Urgh. World Maps = Aoi aggravation when playing ffvii.

I've only ever experienced 1, 2 and 7's maps, though. And I guess I would prefer 7's, even if the directional controls drive me absolutely bonkers. Half the time I end up going in circles. >.<.

VIII. Easy. Just because the Ragnarok came with Auto-Pilot!! :D

VII's and VIII's were good, didn't like IX's much. I went for VI because... there are two of them...

Good choice DL, i forgot about that, just if i could take my vote back, and on 6 you get to do that thing with that wild person were you get new moves, it wouldn't be ff6 without him.

I agree fully!!The Ragnarok was a FF players dream come true, especially with how slow the ship moves.;)

As for the map vote,I voted for VIII's.It was pretty big and had a lot of secret locations. Not only that, some of the areas looked awesome.

The final fantasy 8 map is an easy win, its got alot more complications andd hidden areas than all the other ones. Such as how most of the summons were extremely hidden.

FF VII's map is probably my favorite . . . I guess more for nostalgic purposes since that was my very first RPG. It was fun just to fly around in the Highwind! While VIII's was really cool, I didn't spend much time flying around the map in Ragnorak . . .I just sped through that game as fast as I could.

I don't like FF VI's as much because I got lost way too easily, and I'd end up just flying around aimlessly until I found what I was looking for, since there wasn't any way to tell which town was what (from looking outside). I had taken a *long* (about a year) break halfway through the game and I didn't remember where any of the towns were.

My vote goes to FF9, just because for the most part, except for Oeilvert, everything was pretty easy to access. Oeilvert was the only time that I got 'semi-lost' and it was bittersweet, because as I was searching, I raised my levels like crazy.

Same here! Not to mention, that we can see trains moving around the map, which means if I have a grudge against squall "never happens" :D I could just let him stand on the train track and wait until he get hit by a train...

I vote for FF 9 because It is the best. I don't like FF 7 world map because it doesn't have the names of where your going to, the same with FF 6. FF 8 map is good but I prefer FF 9.
