Square Enix FF X-2's ending...

FF X-2's ending... Contains spoilers

Ok, this probably has spoilers, but I don't want to put the whole thing in a spoiler tag...

So is it just me, or was anyone else underwhelmed by the ending? Guh, I was actually mad at the ending, seeing Yuna just on top of the Celsius and being retarded...
My friend told me that you get a better ending if you have 100%, but there is little possibility of that happening...can anyone verify this?

 

Ugh, I really need to get 100%. The ending I got cleared NOTHING UP AT ALL. God, I'm gonna need a walkthrough...

 

Dang and I just pasted that scene a while ago in my second file! Thank god for the first file which still isn't completed yet.

Yargh, it is hard to get done a 100%. Little things that may help though, before going to all the hotspots check out every location first. (well in the first chapter I checked out Besaid first and did everything else in order) Some of the thigns you have to do though are hard, like in chapter three, in Macalania woods. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I couldn't do that.

actuallie while using the 100%...if u want to know wat happened...read on..at the very end u see a scene of titus in water then he goes up to the surface while he whistles for someone. Then Yuna's ship zooms out with her flying out and running to him. Pretty cute scene...but only for 100%

 

Oh hell, alternate endings... Final fantasy going Silent hill on us? suppose theres also a UFO ending now ^_^

My sister told me something about that...but god, I'm gonna get a walkthrough soon, cause god, it's hard. One question though: Where the heck is Trainer?!?

 

Whoa, I was like 'what are you talking about', then I realized you never saw the good, or perfect ending. I actually like the good ending better than the perfect ending, but they're both good. It's hard to get 100%, but it's worth it. ^^

 

its very hard to get 100% u have to do alot of things like comfort buddy when he was on the floor..you'll get i think 0.5 or 1.5% its very hard..even if u get 99.8% u dont get the other ending so its hard so u will need a book to do it all and thats what i need

I actually just got myself a walktrhough to get 100%. ^^ it's in Playstation Magazine. heh heh, 100% here I come!

 

^^ My friend has a walk through. I'l prolly end up getting it from her. And the new game plus also helps out a bunch. I kinda liked the standard ending. Even though I'm mad I have to get 100%. *drools* I have changed my opinion of who my fav of the three leaders is now. ^^

 

Well, my sister got a better ending. She had like, 91%. And Tidus was there(oh come on, you knew it would happen).

 

I had like a 74% when I finished last night. I would have been disappointed with the ending, but then Yuna said "It all began when I saw this sphere of you.", which reprised the introduction nicely. Also, the really stupid jokes my roommate and I kept making helped.

 

i haven't gotton 1oo% yet but here are some tips.
1. rest in the cabin on the celcious at least once every chapter.
2. do the machina mystery.
3. press the X button 4 times when Yuna fell in the farplane on ch. 3 after she says i m all alone.
4. give the stolen sphere to the youth leage.
5. check the journy's start sphere when you first get on the celcious.
6. talk to the moogle in luca after the first concert when paine and rikku are chasing lablanc diguised as yuna.
7. press the X button during the ending and choose the yes answer.

those are just some of the things you need to do to get 100%.

Trainer is acquired in Chapter 3, I believe, in the mission where you have to stop Garik, by following him up the mountain. It is acquired by responding to Kimarhi with the second option when he says something about him being tired, and then he'll reply mentioning something about how he should stop whining. The responses DO matter, so in all cases, be understanding with the Ronso, and be stern with Kimarhi, it will make your battle with Garik a lot easier, because he won't have two Ronso youth with him, only one, and he won't be able to cast Mighty Guard.

Just a pointer. Kimarhi will give you the sphere at the start of the mission if you responded correctly.

 

GameFAQs says the responses to the other Ronsos don't matter for the purpose of obtaining the dressphere. You can't both be right.

 

No, that is true. But the responses do matter for the battle with Garik. If you have a positive relationship with the Ronsos, there will only be one Ronso youth, and Garik won't use Mighty Guard, making the battle WAY easier.

 

Of course, the battle's not especially hard to begin with. I smoked Garik twice, the first time having screwed up the whole Gullwing-Ronso relations thing and the second time not talking to any of them (other than Kimahri) just to test the theory.
Bottom line: Tamer sphere gained. Novus happy.
