RPG Archives FFIX: Sister Thread

I figure I can make some use of this non-sub-forum system here.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, under the moniker GNZ I had just started to run a little RPG based on Final Fantasy IX. Anyway, I was just reminded of this game elsewhere on the site by one of our friendly neighbourhood moderators. Thinking it might be interesting to see if it will work this time, I figured I'd give it a whirl.
I'll even GM to get this thing going, but it may well end up just being free-roaming when Post-Apocalypse Now starts ... I don't think anyone wants to see what would happen if I tried running two games at once.

Okay, here's what I need:
I'd like 2 to 6 players. Each player can select a character from the game, one of the mains only, preferably (Zidane, Garnet/Dagger, Vivi, Steiner, Quina, Freya, Eiko, Amarant), or an original character (I'd like 2 of these max, and I'll need you to toss me some details.

The game's pretty much set after the original, so Kuja's been defeated and all that Gaia vs. Terra stuff is pretty much over with. But is it just the calm before the storm? We shall see ...

If you're interested in playing, drop a message saying your character choice. If the one you wanted from the game isn't on the list, PM me and we'll talk. Some of the secondary characters would probably be alright.

 

Yeah, I just reread the old stuff, and I have determined the best course of action. I will continue with the same basic story as I had in mind before, but the introduction will be different (largely because instead of being after disc 3 it is after the actual game).
I really hope this game picks up. Who wants to play? I know someone does.

 

I want to play! And I claim Zidane! ^_^ Can't wait to get started. I'm renaming this as the sister thread once things get started!

Anyway, at least one more player, and we can at least start.
By the way, which style of Zidane's weapons are you going to use? I'm giving everyone a sort of "generic" weapon to start with, but you can pick between the double-bladed sword or the single dagger.

 

Hmmm..sounds interesting..I'd like to play as a custom character...since theres no official thread yet, I won't make a char. sheet or anything..YET..

 

Uchiha-chan, this is the official thread, as far as that goes! ^_^ In the threaded RPGs, there are only two threads- the in-game thread and the sister thread.

And Novus - I think I'll take daggers for now.

 

So ... the other game's starting now ... so ... uh ... what do we do with this?

 

Well, if you feel we need a few more members before we start, the best thing to do is publicity! However, we can just wait until we have enough people also...It's your choice, Novus.

 

I'd like to play as Steiner, and if someone really wants him, I'll play Quina.

I would love to join this rpg and, if it is not too much troble, I would like to be Vivi. Just let me know when you have all the details and stuff worked out, or if you want help just let me know.
