i think is ff10 will be the second greates rpg the mgs2(metal gear soild2) will be the first game for ever

 

MGS2 is an RPG? Or are you one of those who calls The Legend Of Zelda series RPG's?

MGS is more of an Action game... I don't think it's an RPG... Final Fantasy is an RPG and it has scored big time... It should be the first...

Okay here we go, a video game Role Playing Game(RPG) is a game in which you assume the role of a character and play that character in an imaginary world.

if we went by that though...almost all games can be considered role playing, unless you play yourself(that'd be cool).

I guess that traditional Role Playing Games contain a very indepth and long storyline. They also contain many stats for you to manage, such as HP, MP, Charisma, etc. Also something that is present in RPG's is thorough character development, by the end of an rpg(sometimes 50 hours later) you almost know the characters you're playing(as if they're your family or something).
Something else.... in rpg's you usually have a 'team' or a group of people.


Although MGS meets some of those guidelines(and is freakin' awesome). So can it be considered an rpg?

FFX actually has 4 DVD's! Whoa....................I can see some pretty impresive action sequences comin out way soon!

No.. it's only 2 DVD's sorry about that! I was hopimg it would be 4 DVD's, but this is the truth.. only 2... well... we can't judge it until we have read enough reviews and played the game ^_^...

Nonetheless, 2 DVD's is, in the words of R2-D2,
"WHAAAAAAAAOOW!" (hope I spelled that right ...)
2 DVD's is the hugest game I've ever heard of. Name something with 3, and I'll quote some droids at that too. Until then, FFX is going on my "To Buy" list.

I don't have a PS2 yet...
BUT I WILL GET A JOB IN THIS CRAPPY TOWN OF MINE AND BUY ONE!!!

I had a job, but they all hated me because I started talking about anime once(instead of drugs). That place was totally depressing! So I went to quit...and they laid me off because the place was going out of business(damn!).

I'll be sure to get Final Fantasy 10 and everything else I can get a hold of...once my job search is successful.

Final Fantasy 10 is supoosed to be released over here in January, so I still have time!

 

Are you sure its only two DVD's cause I went to a finl fantasy music site and it showed a list of the FFX music and it said: Disk1,2,3 and 4. Maybe I'm confuzed................

DVD's have 4.7 gigabytes...so 2 would be 9.4 gigs.
That's huge!

 

The sound tracks are four CD's ...
the game is 2 DVD's I think....
