    Man, this is some funny ****. It's an article about all the 'Odd' Final Fantasy characters to grace our respective computers. If you like final fantasy, you'll love this.

    Namingway

    Here we have a character designed for nothing else but re-naming characters. I think somebody got bored one night and thought to himself, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to add in a cute little bunny character?" Only problem was, after he'd finished staying up in the wee hours to finish teh character design, he realized there wasn't anywhere in the plot for a cute little bunny character after all. Not to let his tireless effort go to waste, he re-engineered the character naming menu option into what became known as "Namingway".

    Namingway is the ultimate pathetic friend. The bunny treks all over the world, following the party over oceans and through mountains just so he'll be around in case somebody decided to get a new identity. And then that was pretty much a joke. As soon as you named yourself "MonkeyStewMan" everyone all over the world already knew your new identity! It must be Namingway's job to travel the world while you're in combat scenes just so everyone's on the same page while talking to you...talk about a full time job. Must not have paid much, either - it appears Namingway died about 7 final fantasies ago...

    That article rules. In fact, I think it rules so much that everyone who plays final fantasy should read it. To those ends, I'm making this thread sticky. Why? Because I want to, and because I can, a gr00vy combination. Also if anyone wants to contribute as Baka has, by all means, go ahead.

    Just as useless were the Humingways...there were there for the sole purpose of taking up text, another visiting spot on the moon, and a chance to meet another Namingway. That and the fact that they look albino, if I remember correctly.

    I'm surprised that they didn't mention Biggs and Wedge, to be used in FFVI as fodder for Tritoch. Now that's a pathetic recurring role.
