First Podcast Added

Hey, I have done that for a long time now.

My friends and my radio show is rather...ramblish

Well crappy. Really sends a lot of my ideas into the garbage. I can still work with it, I guess, but it'll be tougher to pull off without the good music, I'll kill you all with my horrible voice! With no songs to put in the middle to give you a break from it...

I guess I'll get to rewriting my script to not have those songs in it... because certainly we shouldn't go with the "Oh, they won't care and if they do they'll let us know and we'll take it down" approach.

I think podcasts are meant to rave or rant about a certain subject.

 

Don't worry, the same goes for me.

However, anyone can at least help some of us with some legal background songs or something?

A little corny, I know. But if you play around with it you can actually get some good soundin' music.

 

Well wait a minute, wait, granted, I can understand how copyright issues would be a problem, but I wonder how other sites get away with it? For example, Kawaii-Radio plays hundreds of songs every day, all of them licensed, yet it's never had legal issues, as far as I know. Granted this is slightly different, being pre-recorded instead of live feed, but does that really make a difference? I don't even see anything on KR showing any sort of permissions or such on the part of the creators of the songs, certainly it can't be as big an issue as all that, can it?

The difference is that all those "freebased" netradio uses the lovely program known as ShoutCast, which can be downloaded from Winamps site.

I think that you need a special license or such when you use podcasts...but I don't know...

 

Just gave it a listen now cloud, very long...yet very good.
Not my fav type of music but it's interesting.
and here was me thinking you just had some sort of passing interest in anime.
You sound much more ray darcyish when your voice is recorded!
