Art first time colouring...

ok, i messed around with psp, from a line drawing i now have this...any comments? Its the first time ive ever coloured an image on cg, so any hints tips etc would be very welcomed! (sorry about the image itself, it isnt very good..)

that looks good... nice skin tone, nice fur, and consistent shadows. VERY nice first cg.

Not bad at all. What tools did you use? Layers, paintbrush, smudge?

Yeah, i used psp 7, three different layers. The line art layer, the coloured layer and the background. that way i didnt colour over any lines when filling in the areas...um, i used the spray can tool thing and just sprayed the colour on. then used the freehand tool to do the highlights etc.


(no she doesnt have fur on the covered arm, the picture itself is a race picture for a new RPG, all of her race differ in how they look (differnt areas of catness) ^_^)

Damn you blow away MY first time ;-;
But I had to use Corel Photohouse to color, and didn't had layers..
Plus, it's all pixelated.
Though, it was my first decent attempt at boobies!!! (click the attachment to see it all)
