    The Saberdolls were named after animals. What about naming them after flowers or plants?? ^^

    How does Petunia sound for Luchs? *^^*

    I could see Lynx as a Delphinium, and Panther as Sunflower and Tiger as probably a Rose...

    I thought it would be a fun idea to revive and expand this old thread. Rather than just flower names for the Saber Dolls, why not *any* other possible name for *any* of the girls.

    All female characters can now be included! (Even Koyuki, Fan-Fan, and other emotionless marionettes)

    To be honest, I only have one to start things off, and it does stay in the whole "flower" idea.

    Although I think her name is perfect as it is, if she had to have any other name, I would say that "Lily" could be an okay name for Cherry.

    (BakaMattSu, perhaps you could rename this thread, so people won't be confused by it?)

    That's a cool idea!
    Flowers!
    That rembers me of "Wedding Peach", because the girls in there are named after flowers (I think so): Daisy, Lily an Momoko... that's a peach blossom or something like that... I'm not that good in japanese an my english is not that good as well... ^_^;
    And I think the marionettes could have the same names... Daisy for Bloodberry, Lily for Cherry and Momoko for Lime.

    And, BTW, the Saber Dolls are not named after animels, but after tanks in World War II. The german tanks were Tiger, Panther and Luchs (and Leopard). And these tanks were named after animals.

    ok well im gunna go with more of what the flowers mean (or at least try to remember as best as i can) than what they look like ^_^ for Bloodberry id say Ivy because it represents marrige and maturity. for Lime id say Daisy because it represents innocence, loyal love, and purity. and for Cherry id say Lily because it represents Purity, Beauty, and Heavenliness.

    Actually, those sound pretty good. Interesting how everyone's said 'Lily' for Cherry so far.

    Umm... to get away from flowers... perhaps...

    I can only think of the one. ;_;
