Full Metal Panic FMP? Fumoffu!

OK guys... there's Full Metal Panic, and recently Full Metal Panic: The Second raid. But in the middle, there's "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu!", a comedy spin-off of the original series (actually sequel, but nevermind).

What's fumoffu about? Comedy, comedy and pure comedy!
There are no mechas in this series, just high school fun. And it's hilarious! Souske is still acting the typical military style, but at the most inappropriate moments!

Example:

Art female teacher: And try to be disciplined and not do anything crazy! That's SPECIALLY FOR YOU, SAGARA!
Souske: Yes, ma'am! I will do my best to acomplish my mission!
teacher: NO! What i mean to say is that you have to be moderate!
Souske: Understood! I will use a moderate force to anihilate the enemy!
Teacher (gone mad) : THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

Example 2:

Chidori is taking a ride on Souske's stolen bike to deliver a school homework.
Police car: Hey you, the one on the bike!
(Chidori smiles, maybe the car can give them a ride to school!)
(Souske speeds as fast as he can)
Chidori: Souske, what are you doing!!
Souske: We're in a stolen vehicle. If they catch us, we're doomed!
(police chase begins)

The whole series is full of funny moments and Chidori beating up Souske for his stupidities. Really funny! :sweat2:

 

The whole Fullmetal series is ok. Not too great. The humour in the three seasons is very good in the first episodes but it gradually wears off, as if the writers just didn't have any new ideas at all.

The whole thing gets a 6/10 calification while the first season gets a 7/10.

 

8/10 on comedy for FUMOFFU on Japanese, and 10/10 on the English track. Chris Patton pulls off Sgt. Sosuke Sagara really well. Oh, and of course, on the episode that 'a goddess comes to japan' (Part 2), no one could make the line of Kurz better than Vic Mignona.

I haven't gotten to watching the second raid yet though.

This (FMP in general) is probobly one of the best mecha series that has been released in the past 10 or so years. I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys mecha. The Bunta-kun is such a great mascot. It is much funny than the FMP:Overload which is more or less dumb.

 

Well my rl buddy should me this series. Starting with this series. I love it. I never laughed so hard. I watched a few episodes and I am dying for more.
