Just finished watching this and it was great. The animation is better than in the original (as to be expected sinceit has been a while since the original.) I now want to read to the novels if an when the are released in America.

As the original post stated... the first episode is avaliable on fansub sites, using your usual methods of finding unlicensed fansubbed anime you should be able to find it. Due to the non-advertisement policy at Boards.jp I will not post the website but if you really must know, then PM me...

Yeah, I too think the first episode brings out a decent introduction to a sequel... in typical all-action style. Storyline seems to at a faster pace too. And Kana-chan.. well, her appearance scene was typical.

Overall, graphics and drawing has been improved especially that water effect when the TDD submerged nearer the end which was rather nice. Story hasn't panned out yet but they didn't waste time to get on with it. i.e. less emphasis on the comic scenes between Sagara/Chidori, so it seems we'll pick it up pretty soon.

Ok i am almost done watching it Does anyone Feel The Second Raid is Disturbing? Like in Episode 10 i Think i dont like visualizing one of the main Characters like that.i also Felt like the Animation Work were also sort of downgraded. i dont think it was as good as first 2 seasons.. it just changed the prespective for me.

    Finished watching it.

First thing to say is that... 13 episodes, didn't half expect it to be this short. I had a feeling it was the end on how the 13th episode started (no opening song). But how it ended kind of left it open again... then I wasn't so sure. I waited a month anticipating a 14th episode before realising that it actually ended. Oh well, I heard they're making another sequel to be released early 2007... so I'm not too downed by it.

On the contray to Fudge Monkeys, I personally quite liked this series. Compared to the first season I thought it was more direct and pacier with the storyline, the mecha action was better, the drawings were sharper... though I'm not exactly sure about the fan service, but I'm not complaining.

The comedy was less, I kind of expected it as it was not supposed to be a sequel to Fumoffu. Also, I thought the gore was a nice addition despite it being a bit disturbing at times... Gives the series a more serious feel to it. One thing I particularly liked in the series were those moments where little happens, I thought Gonzo did a good job on making a number of fairly simple scenes gripping and intense (Chidori's paranoia after meeting the twin for the first time) whilst in other scenes, making some interesting chemistry in a untypically non-aggressive way (most notably for me - the hair cut scene between the two)

Overall, I enjoyed the series... just the shortness of the series and perhaps rehashed soundtrack pulls the marks of this a little.
