Humour Foamy Visits an Anime Convention

Yes, it's Foamy. For those of you who DON'T know who he is, you should. He's a little trash-talking hyperactive squirrel who rants and stars in various Neurotically Yours cartoons. I happened to find one where Foamy visits an Anime Convention in Dallas, Texas. The link is below. I watched the cartoon twice and counted: there are 4 curse words in total. That's a low amount for a foamy cartoon. So if any mod blows up about this, delete it. I honestly have no problem with that.

Anyway, getting back to the cartoon itself, Foamy makes refrences to various animes, such as DBZ, Sailor Moon, and Cowboy BeBop. Pretty funny stuff if I do say so myself.

I chuckled a bit when I first saw it... about 6 or 8 months ago. Now it's just... meh

I follow the ol' 6-2-1 rule, when I go to a convention

 

Wow, I dunno. That just sort of...

Didn't make me laugh at all. It didn't really have decent comedic timing. I might have liked it if Germaine (or whatever the goth girl is called) shut up. Her random screeches and belching were annoying and ruined the flow. If she was silent I probably would have found it quite funny.

 

I know, Germaine kinda ruined Foamy's speech (or rant?). Also, her uh, well, you know, were BOUNCING AROUND EVERYWHERE. It was too darn hard to concentrate on Foamy!

 

Deffinitly one of the longest ones i have seen.. I liked it was good.. I am suprised though that you cant find it on the web page.

 

First NewGrounds link since There's something about Halo that didn't suck. I like to think mayinly, because it's foamy, which owns.

Seen that one ages ago, although i still kinda like it. I never been to an anime convention but i have been to a few things that are kinda simillar, and i think it is worth pointing out that people should really take some of the things Foamy says seriously. It makes life oh so much better for everyone.

 

Yesterday I watched one on the Hurricane crisis down in Louisiana. Foamy rants about how a cartoon squirrel has more sympathy for human lives than other humans do. Another one I found on NG.

 

I laughed out loud at the Pikachu-shaped soap bar suggestion, but the rest of it was just sort of meh.....

Also, Germaine was really grating on my nerves.... what was with the random belching every 2.5 seconds? I don't think I got the joke, if there was one...

 

well, i'd suppose that it was funny in a way, but i didn't find it very much... entertaining.

and what's with germaine's CHEST?! it was quite annoying...

 

First of all, I didn't really laugh. The picachu soap was funny though. Also, only 4 curse words. A typical Foamy cartoon has at least 10. It was okay though, compared to a few others.

 

Well, someone was a little perverted when making that cartoon huh?

 

And that ladies and gentlemen, would be THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR! Obsessed is more the word I was thinking of.

 

Euhhhh I didn't exactly laugh, mainly because the setting wasn't very interesting to look at.. I was actually just waiting for it to end. Thought the Foamy would come up with more witty rules than just the casual "no smoking, no drinking, etc".
There are better Foamy cartoons out there... Such as Germaine's Jelly Butt.. XD

Oh and those who question the chest, the author comment stated:

"...Those who don't like Foamy will probably appreciate the Boob/Hentai joke."

 

You have to admit though, the complimentary Pikachu shaped soap bars joke was pretty funny. C'mon. Admit it.

 

Who would still buy Pokémon soap anyway? Naruto FTW Lololol!!1one!

Eh, personally, I thought Germaine's Jiggly Butt was possibly the worst of the cartoons.
