Have you ever noticed how Yuki and Akito are very similar. I mean they are both rather sickly, they looked strangly alike.....its weird. amybe there brothers or something.

OOO and has anyone else been reading the manga further. Presonally I think Yuki is going to die.....the signs are so clear.. I mean they have been talking about sickly yuki and Hiro's mom is pregnant meanning that baby would be the new mouse.....coincidence I THINK NOT!!! Does any one else think so?

Then that means yuki is 24, since yuki is around 16-17 in the beginning of the stuff and for another rat year to come. -_-?

 

Well, i dunno about that but i thought of a whole bunch of reasons more of why he was gonna die, I kinda forgot them.

They don't necessarily have to be born in that year I think... if you look at Hatori, Ayame and Shigure, they're all 27, yet three different animals. The dragon and the dog years are even 6 years apart... plus, look at Kyo and Yuki... Momiji and Haru... yeah :sweat:

I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know but personally I think that Yuki shouldn't die.. not a great Yuki fan but either way.. I'm all for the Kyo and Kagura thing... Then again, I only watched the anime. How are you reading the manga? Can you read Japanese? You lucky dog...

 

I can read some japanese. I get the just of the stories. But no worries tokyo pop is coming out with a fruits basket manga. Did you see the last episode of fruits basket? its so sad. Thats what gives me the ide a that kyou and kagura arent gonna work out *tears*. It would be a total turn around if Yuki died and would totally amp the story. But i dont really want yuki 2 die. Poor kyou and hatsuharu and toru EVERYONE would be devestated. It really upsets me. But so far up till #12 hes fine so thyats good. Unfortunatly i dont think 13 is out yet so i dont know:dizzy2: ahhhhh ne way.

 

I've seen the whole thing twice... too much time... maybe if Kyo realizes that shows just how much more Kagura loves him? Ha! I don't know, I'm not good with romances.. Yeah, I heard that the manga's coming out too... I was thinking of getting the Korean ones but they're so expensive

To keep this semi-on track... I don't think the two could be brothers... Or... Grr... you can never tell with this family... I heard somewhere Hiro's sister is that Rin girl or something... I'm guessing Akito's still more sickly than Yuki right? So if Hatori can treat Akito... Maybe there's still hope? Ha...

 

all we can do is hope. I know Hiro an Rin see eachother a lot. But im not sure if their related. Rin and Hatsuharu on the other hand are SUPER conected. (they did the deed!) its scary! Rins a big ho though ive noticed. She said she would do it with Shigure if he gave her something (i cant remember what). I know that kind of off topic but still it needs to be said!

 

Haha I had the same exact reaction when I first read the possible spoiler.

Im not sure how the curse works, but I guessed that when the cursed person dies the curse moves on to the newly borned child of Sohma. So It doesnt mean that when a new member joins the Sohma family that one of the cursed would die.

 

My haed hurts just thinking o the whole fruits basket plot. :glazed: It boggles me. So i guess someone has 2 die then....... ah!

 

lol anyway in the dvd it said akito was gonna die soon. so far it seems you guys are all at volume 12 (daMNIT i cant read jap why cant they make it in korean ) but if hes still not dead then, i hope yukis bronkaitis (dam i cant spell) kiqs in; some death makes a good climatic action type theme/plot thing and makes a story alot better but then again yuki dead. kyo alive. yuki and kyo BOTH DO SEEM TO LIKE HER (hence the dvd's listen carefully and put on subtiles on the english version ) and that means KYO WILL WIN TOHRU HAHAHAHAHAH AND TOHRU CAN MAKE HER STUPID CAT FANCLUB AND BECOME THE FEMALE CAT AND REMOVE THE CURSE SOME HOW AND KYO AND TOHRU GET MARRIED AND KAGURA AND JUST GO MARRY LIKE... HANA'S BROTHER (first guy that came in mind tat wasnt a sohma )

I m glad 4 yuki to having to die soon. Death is a gd way out. Yuki been suffering all his life and it will be freedom 4 him to just die. Same to the other members of the cursed family. :anime:

 

SPOILERS for Rin's past, etc. in this entire post so read at your own risk~

I just wanted to say that Rin is not a slut or anything of the like (despite the fact that she dresses in a rather provocative manner). She's an emotionally scarred girl who really was in love with Haru and only Haru. In fact, her entire past is riddled with emotional as well as physical abuse (she was even admitted to a hospital due to her emotional issues... as well as her physical ones, as I'm sure most of us know--stupid Akito ~_~). For several years, she believed that her parents genuinely loved her, only to find herself shunned after asking them a simple question ("Are you really happy?"). Her life pretty much became hell after this (on top of her health problems) and Haru was her only support, therefore they shared a very heavy bond, even from childhood.

Also, she offered herself to Shigure because she believed he knew the secret of breaking the juunishi curse (she wanted to do this for Haru). It turned out that he didn't know the how-to but he thinks someone else may (most likely Tooru).

So yes, she's rather misunderstood, sadly. :/ She happens to be one of my favorite characters in Furuba so I just had to post this. *gets off her soap box*

in the manga,if yuki died,and kyo didnt have anything to do with his death,then kyo wouldnt be with toru.

Ok, Y'all Are WRONG!! Ive Finished The Series (MAJOR SPOILERS AHED!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!)
YUKI DOES NOT DIE DANGIT!! He Gets another girl, (Machi Kugari I thinkies...) And Kyo And Tohru go out, kureno and Uo have a LITTLE romance, HAna and Kazuma err... Are "Friends?" (LAFFS!!) And Akito dosent die, all the curses are broken, Momiji grows up.. ALOT and Momiji is jelous of Kyo since he wanted to get bigger to get tohru, Akito's a girl, Shigure and Akito Get together.... Ayame And Mine get together, (thinks) Ritsu and Mii MAY get together, Kyo and tohru Kiss twice, and I think get married at the end, And that is the entire series spoiled for you then and there!

 

Thats It all in a nutshell
