Fruits Basket Fruits Basket: The Good Things

I have seen a lot of people who come here and post about how bad the anime is.. and I wonder... if that is all they have to say.. why do they come here? :anger2: I mean, just because I hate some anime I don't go around telling everybody!

Anyway... to confront that, you can post here what is the best thing about FB for you. :anime: Mine is... YUKI!!! :shy:

 

Hmm I haven't really noticed that... Anyway my favorite things in Fruits Basket are Kyo (and his pants), Hatsuharu (and his haircut) and Yuki's brother (just so funny :anime: ). They are all just so kewl and bishie :catgirl: I love how they were able to make one of the main characters (Yuki) the weakest of the animals, which I find a little interesting.

 

ya sure its a cool pants and FB is a funny anime and i like the way they turn into animals,kinda like Ranma1/2 exept that Ranma turns into a girl and the characters turn into different animals :anime: .

 

heh...what I love about Fruits Basket is....EVERYTHING!!! From Yuki's princely looks to shigure's rude, blunt and hurmorous comments!! Okay so Akito is a bit scary but hey he still looks good. Hehehee :shy: I love Yuki the most though. Shigure, oh what would be do without him...wait...nothing! :catgirl: Eheehee!!!!I can't help but love shigure's perverted hurmor. Hahahaha!! Oh and why would people bother visting this site if all they do is bash anime. I mean everyone has their hates and likes of anime but if all they do is bash then they should get kicked out. Simple as that. Anyway I haven't seen that around often either, where are you witnessing this anyway Beatriz4?

 

:sad: GOMEN!! I've been on MANY forums ( :dizzy2: ) and I got a little mixed up about the bad posts, gomen. However I think I DID saw a message that said "Fruits Basket is really bad"... I don't think that was the exact title, but something like that, and the person asked why did you watch it... :catgirl:

actually I think I came across something like that and I got really pissed off. What's with the ending

Ok I am a little slow on the anime but I am dissapointed with Fruits. Dont' get me wrong I love Fruits Basket but I want more!!!! I don't know but i was just wondering what all of you guys think..but does Toruh end up with kyo

 

Well, there isn't any more to the anime, but there is the manga, which is still going on in Japan. Tokyopop has licensed the series, and the first volume was just released this month. Admittedly, you'll have to wait a bit before you get completely "anime free" content (stuff that was never covered in the anime that comprises an entire volume), but there was stuff even in the very beginning that never made it into the anime.

As for your question about Tohru and Kyo....really can't say at this time. The manga is still going on, so I doubt that anything of that nature has been resolved. Can't say for sure as I haven't read it all (or even most of it, for that matter), but I'm sure there are other people in the forum who will be better able to answer that question.

Harmony the thing about Tohru is, she's in the middle of a love triangle between her, Yuki and Kyo. She's their and everyone else's emotional stability. She's always there to touch their hearts and tell them it's okay and give them the smiles or tears they need. She hears them out and gives them advice from her her heart and from what her mother taught her. Tohru, I don't think can really choose between the two because she's there for them in their darkest times and shows equal love for both of them. If she chooses one then the other would be beyond crushed. She wouldn't be happy and neither would everyone else. I don't think she can choose. I think she's gonna just love them all because after all they are her family. I don't think she's going to pick one or the other. There would be a lot of arguement between the fans. Tohru....just isn't going to choose. If you read the manga you can see what I mean. I don't want to give anything away. And plus I don't even think Natsuki-san can even choose...it would be difficult to choose...after all there are a lot of kyo and Tohru fans and a lot of Yuki and tohru fans...it's gonna be some ending!

I agree there is a lot going on. I agree aswell on the fact that Tohru basically pulls the family together. However in the anime I really think that she pushs for Kyo. I hope those who have not seen the ending of the anime don't read this..... This pretains to the episode 25 i believe where honda tohru finds out that kyo's form is actually hedious....and then goes after him..yuki kyo and tohru confront each other near a lake area and the scean has lots of rain etc..

Ok so when kyo turns in to the "monster" and Tohru grabs on to him to make him listen to her...Yuki says something to the extent...Tohru has always liked him [kyo] and he [yuki] can't stand it anymore but yuki wants kyo to realize that....i dunno my japanese is not all that great so i dunno if i really read that scean correctly but I think it gives evidence to Tohru's prefrence?

 

The anime is just soooo funny. And the characters are so lovable. It is just a perfect combo of comedy and great story. I am a sucker for a great story.
