Humour Funny Hat Instead Of A Crown

I am not sure if many people who do not live in the Netherlands know about the Queen of the Netherlands, queen Beatrix. Who is at the age of 60 or higher ( I am not quite sure).
The old kings and queens always use to wear crowns on their heads etc, but nowadays it seems that hats have taken their places.

here you see a picture of her. As you see she is wearing a funny hat. And every time you see her at a different place she weares a completely different hat and matching outfit, kind of like that young Queen A. from Star Wars, lol.
She is not the only one, the other people from the royal family can look pretty funny too.

Sometimes it might look nice but most of the time its just very funny. It makes try and imagina other important people from other countries with the same funny hats..

yeah indeed a feathery hat, but she has lots of more. But I cant show all those pictures ofcourse. This is just an example, I can not really find a good example of a very funny one but you have to imagine that a little

 

Their just hats what the deal with them everyone wears a hat.

...Well I thought it was a funny looking hat. Then again I am an American and European fashons have always been amusing to me. Hell, I still think cowboy hats look goofy when people wear them now-a-days.

You should see the 10 gallon hats. Really big one.

Anyway I see your point. Obviously the Queen needs fashion advice. You can tell her that I am available but I don't do Saturdays and Sundays or Holidays. I did ask myself when I saw this did someone choke Big Bird and make him into a hat.

 

What else is there to say? It's a hat. A bit of a strange one, buuuuut...

Maybe she wears the bloody thing because a crown is too heavy? I mean, they *are* solid metal, and usually gold, no? A proper crown would probably weigh in at least a good 15-20 lbs. (Totally guessing here)

 

Ah, Queen Beatrix.. With her silly hats all the time..
I'd hate to see our own king Albert in a silly hat.. former queen Fabiola perhaps.. (Belgian royalty... what a joke ) She's always looking weird with her poofy hair anyway!

She does seem to have plenty of hats, but it isn't as though she is wearing them all the time. Hmmm I wonder what Bush would look like in one of those hats....

 

ok yes the hat is odd and might have been funny to me when i was 9 but no offense, i dont think it was worth making a thread about...on the other hand i do find Jackabee's picture #3 kinda amusing not cuz of her hat but cuz of her face
