    Are any of you Fushigi Yugi fans? I'm just wondering cuz lot sof my friends are CRAZY about it. I think it's a fine anime and all, but yet it's a lil odd. I mean, there are more hate shrines to Miaka (the main character) than likes. Besides, whenever my friends yell out, "FY RULZ" and "MKR (Magic Knight Rayearth") RULZ", I always yell back "SMJ RULZ!!!!!". Anyways, I do think Fushigi Yugi's a very cool anime :p

    True... She's lucky, hey Toma, wonder if our Library has any of those ancient books. We could go on an Adventure. I mean the school's IB program is killing me ;.; ... I want to run away!

    Yeah, all of the seven Celestial Warriors (almost) are in love with Miaka.. that's wrong.. I guess that's why no one really likes her.

    No, I don't hate her ^^ But I just feel very sorry for Hotohori that even though he loved Miaka and did all he can for her, she still loved Tama.

    hm..

    miaka is a bit too complain-ish and whiney. however, i think Chichiri's koool, and tasuki, and nuriko....SPEAKING OF NURIKO! it was SOOOOO sad when he died! you've all watched tha series right??? that part was so sad...

    Well...the truth is that I personally don't like Miaka that much. She's funny and all but I just don't really like her that much...Chiriko and Nuriko and Chichiri Is SO KEWL! I like that alot! :rolleyes:

    How could you not like Miaka!!??
    She's the main character!!!
    She's a little annoying somethimes but most of the time she's pretty funny.
    Yu Watase is a genius!!

    I think the problem isn't so much Miaka herself, but the differences between the anime and the manga. From what I've been exposed to (and a friend of mine -- the one guilty of making me a Fushigi Yuugi fan -- agrees with me on this), manga!Miaka is, while whiny, still likeable, whereas in the anime, since she's given more time in the spotlight, she becomes blah. (Furthermore, in the manga, Yui is, to me, annoying and rather selfish, while in the anime I sympathize more with her than with Miaka.)

    Personally, I neither hate nor love Miaka. I think she's just fine, though less likely to annoy in the manga. ^_^

    I'm a big fan myself. My favorite character is Nuriko she's..i mean he is realy cool. I also love Tasuki.

    I like Fushigi Yuugi, but sadly, I dislike this whole relationship between Tamahome and Miaka, its just.. too annoying to me ^^;

    I think I am too old for FY now, even though it has alot of love scenes, but still! :p

    i think that fushigi yugi is a pretty good manga. though i hate the tamahome/miaka thing. making me sick... but other than that, i like it a lot. imadoki's better though.... *kidding* i think...

    Imadoki, it's kind of weird. How can Yamazaki always stay so happy all the time?
    For those of you who don't know what Imadoki is about its' about a girl named Yamazaki Tanpopo(her name means dandelion).
    She's moved to a new town and she's starting school at a new high tech school compared to her old school.
    Well, she comes early to school like a day before to check it out and she lands on a boy named Kugyou Kouki while he's planting flowers.
    She becomes her friend but the next day at school she tries to say hi to him and he says that he doesn't know her.
    She finds out that he is the richest kid in the school and eveyone thinks that she's just trying to get his money so they make fun of her, trip her in the hallways, and take away her desk.
    But throught the whole thing she's still trying to make friends with Kouki and she always so happy-go-lucky.

    It makes me want to barf.
