Watase Yuu Works Fushigi Yuugi or Ayashi no Ceres?

What do you think guys? Fushigi or Ayashi?
Well, personally, I like Ayashi no Ceres more 'coz the plot is a lot more nicer, especially the characters. But I still love Fushigi Yuugi...:glazed:

 

I'v only redd a little of both and have one one Fushigi manga. But due to storyline I'm gonna say Ceres.

 

Hard =.= ! I like both... er ... I can't choose... I like them both...

Ayashi No ceres has an interesting story, but so does Fushigi Yuugi. What I like about Fushigi Yuugi is how the series focuses on every characters' past. I love Love triangles, where

Yuuhi and Tooya love Aya in Ayashi No Ceres. Tamahome and Tasuki and Hotohori [did i miss someone?!] love Miaka. Its the same senario where the female protagonist loves only one. Anyway, Its hard to vote cuz i love to both series .... .... .... .... .... .... [trying to decide] ... ... ... ... ... Hmmm .. I'll vote for Fushigi Yuugi

 

Ayashi no ceres all the way

I've never seen Fushigi Yuugi so I choose Ayashi no Ceres.

 

ive seen few episodes of Ayashi no Ceres..its good
but i like Fushigi Yuugi more

 

I choice Ceres only because I only read the manga to Yuugi and not seen the anime. The manga was good don't get me wrong but I think I like Ceres better. *shrugs* I just love the storyline to it.

I like them both a lot, and it is a bit hard to chose, but I think that Ayashi may win out just a hair.

 

Interesting, I'd think that Fushigi Yuugi would win by a longshot (interestingly enough though, not on this board...). ^^ I say this because FY has a huuuuuuuuuuuge, massive fanbase while Ayashi no Ceres is just incredibly liked. Plus, it hasn't finished its run in the U.S. and the anime was so short... 24 measly episodes as opposed to 62 episodes and 3 OAV series.

On a more personal level *cough*, I prefer AnC. I liked the dark ambiance, the hopelessness, the bleakness, yada yada yada. I liked it because it was depressing. The ending was sad, just the way I like it. Fushigi Yuugi's ending was candied up way too much... even the characters who could have made the manga series heartbreaking with their sacrifices came back to bug the hell outta me (not because I don't like them... but because it's a pretty sad attempt at making everything happy-pappy).

I think that Watase should have kept her original draft of Fushigi Yuugi having a sad ending... i.e., Tamahome and Miaka were supposed to be seperated forever and the end!

I hate to be morbid but... I really disliked the Ayashi no Ceres gaiden as well. Talk about trying to make everyone happy. Yeesh.

 

ayashi....since aya is prettier and sexier than miaka heh heh

 

I would have voted for FY but the poll's closed. It has a nicer ending. I don't like endings like the one for AnC.

I'd have to say I like Ayashi no Ceres better but that might just be because I watched it more recently... I like both Nuriko AND Tooya!

Plus, Tamahome is way hotter than Toya and Yuhhi combined.
