Or know where i can pickup the VHS episodes?

the pickins are real low on this series... and its my favorite.

    Hello!

The only way to get "G-Force" episodes is to purchase the "Battle of the Planets" DVDs. There is one "G-Force" episode on each of the DVDs, so the first six have been released. They are not available on VHS.

Yes, each DVD has two "Battle of the Planets" episodes, the two corresponding "Gatchaman" episodes, and one "G-Force" episode.

Wowzerz! thanks for the info mark :) i appreciate it, but heres another question for you.

Why only 1 epsiode? having only 6 G-force episodes couldnt possibly feed my hunger for all the eps, do you know if the rest will be released? Or are there more BOTP dvds on the way?

    You're welcome!

A boxed set of "Battle of the Planets" will be released in the summer, and I assume the same formula for "Gatchaman" and "G-Force" episodes will accompany the DVDs.

The reason for only one "G-Force" episode probably boils down to the series was not very popular. Actually, I'm surprised they're even on the DVDs. "G-Force" did not do well on either WTBS in the 80s or The Cartoon Network in the 90s. It confused and frustrated "Battle of the Planets" fans because the name of the ship and the team were the same, but the voices and names of the characters were different. As someone who grew up on "Battle of the Planets," I have a very difficult time sitting through one episode of "G-Force!" But you are a fan, so I'm not going to nitpick all the problems I have with the show. :)

But if they're going to put any "G-Force" epusodes on, why not put both that correspond with the "Battle of the Planets" and "Gatchaman" episodes on the DVD? That makes no sense to me.

Yeah this makes perfect sense to me, i had never even heard of battle of the planets "g-force" was my first translation i ever saw, i got my entire neighbor hood into it infact. Its like a child hood memory with all my friends, we would always "pretend" to be G-force (there was 5 of us, and 1 girl, it was perfect!) .. we would go out on "g-force" missions late in the night wearing hoodies. Hahah, well im going to get all the botp dvds any way, so i can get as many G-force eps as i can.. its a childhood memory thing i guess.. cant let it slip.

tanks for the facts man, tonight infact im going out to suncoast to purchase volume 1 :) - Let the collecting begin!

Cool! Let me know what you think. This will be interesting, because I've never met someone who grew up on "G-Force" and will be exposed to "Battle of the Planets" second. I'm assuming you haven't seen any "Battle of the Planets" or "Gatchaman" yet. Give everything a couple of viewings, if you have time, and let us know what you think about everything.

Please just one thing: try to be kind to 7-Zark-7. He's very sensitive!

ah, well i picked up volume two today, ive seen the ones on volume 1 so i didnt get it just yet.. i have seen botp (divx episodes) and it is VERY different, its like a whole new g-force.. 7-zark-7 didnt appeal to me at first, but he is some what hilarious after i listend to him more closly.. I havnt watched the dvd yet i will tonight though.. the BOTP seems to have the action cut out of it, this i dont approve of, and i miss Keyop actually speaking normal and not making those freaky chirp noises hahaha!

Sandy frank did an alright job filling in the space from the violence gettun cut out with the 7zark7 unit.

Hey,I'm new to this website/talk stuff so please bear with me. I have almost the entire series on tape, recorded off t.v.,it's in pretty good shape. I know what it's like to want find G-force cartoons so I'd like to make copies for you (if you know a way I can do so without infringing on any laws ?). I'm not sure how to find out.

Well, it's difficult to find loopholes to go through. I'd say for the most part that if you make copies of episodes that are not avaliable to the public and only charge for the video cassette, you're clear. As long as it isn't some widespread distribution--and you don't copy episodes that have been released-- I don't see the problem with it. It doesn't look like Rhino is going to release the entire series anyways, but keep in mind that it's the sales of what *has* been released that leads to them releasing more. Anyways, hope that helped. I don't know much about law, so it isn't set in stone or anything, but it sounds right.

btw, if anyone is knowledgable in the law, feel free to correct me. ^_^ I'd hate to mislead people.

AkiraHz ; I'd like to give you the series on video. Again, it is in good shape. I'll give you all but the episodes on the BotP DVDs. All you'll have to do is pay for the videos and shipping charges. If you're interested then e-mail me at Gatchafan2003@yahoo.com
