    I'm sick of hearing that... :-\

    I like women that plays all kinda games

    I'm teaching my cousing fighting games and such...
    and then the mother, my aunt, says that's no games for for my daughter... (OK we where playing GTA3, so i kinda understand)

    I swapped game and put Tekken *no blood in that one*

    And my aunt said the same...
    And me cousin loves them but her mother :-\

    didi it happened the same to you?

    i thinks its great that your teaching your cousin fighting games because its crutial if you suck at fighting games, for instance your at a party and some one challenges you to a fight*on a game* then you'll be ready to whip some tail!!!

    My parent don't care if I play a fighting and I'm a girl. When I played against my big brother, I usually kick his @$$ in front of his friends!

    hmmmm somthing like that has hsppin to me , here's a tip
    put you t.v and v-games and stuff in your room and get
    headphones ( can't spell it ) for no one can hear your games
    I do that alot because my mom and dad don't like me playing
    games with killing or love or stuff even I can watch t.v shows
    with those stuff , so I got a t.v in my room and headphones
    too . Because I like game with story lines to them , but
    my mom tell me to just read a book like harry potter or somthing
    that was on the news , and with t.v shows I can watch anime
    or manga because of how the girls look on them wearing tiny
    dresses or other stuff , but I don't watch them for that , I watch
    them for the cool story lines , I hope somthing here helps you
    out .

    hehe my parents laughed when i used to be able to kick arse at mortal combat...good family laugh fest when the lil bro would do a fatality in the pit stage..heh heh people on pikes...

    Games are for girls and guys and all the little childrens but if you takes all the bloody ones and all the gorey ones and puts them togethers then I guess you will have disturbed childs like mes on yours hand you knows like the kinds who listen to only heavy metals and other clinks in the dark moon lights

    Kid #2:Dude I just kicked your *** for the 7th time!

    DAMN YOU TEKKEN TAG TEAM!!!!!!

    I found this game extremely addicting although I really sucked at it....

    A fond memory was sparked by this. Back in high school at a friend's house playing MK with him and his younger brother.

    His mother came down to do some laundry at just the "right moment", and the little guy calls out "Hey Mom, mom! Watch this!".

    Not sure which Fatality it was, but it was one where body parts and blood fly all over. :)

    Her sickened reaction was hilarious.

    Am I sick myself, to find that still amusing? :p


    Now, onto the issue, I think Age is the only deciding factor, and the more recently added "Ratings" that now feature on game boxes are safe enough to follow if violence/language/situations bother your idea of what your children should play/watch.

    I remember reading a year or so back about gaming companies realizing there is a market for female players in all areas of gaming (not just the barbie/shopping type of bleh). The female protagonists in games appeal more to males, sadly enough - After all, they're usually insanely mis-proportioned, barely dressed, etc... but they are getting better over time.

    girls seem to really suck or really rox0r with games.

    Would be nice to find more online frag'n. Being knifed in the head from behind by a girl is somewhat less shameful then by a boy.

    Firearms mod baby! :D

    Anyways.. girls always made better warriors, and classed as better then men on the battle field in many cultures.

    It's rather sexist that 'games are not for girls', well, people probably expect girls to be all 'pleasant' and 'anti-violence', but wohoho... girls CAN be good and dangerous with computer games, they can whip boys' a$$ in some games I played. For example, I know this girl who plays Counterstrike so I challenged her online... and you should see how dangerous she can be with a desert eagle pistol... And that's the only thing she buys which annoyed me coz she's better htan me with an Ak47 :eek:

    Don't under estimate girls... they really can frighten you sometimes :dizzy2:

    i don't see why people even think of that. Girls not playing video games? Geez, i was in math class this one time...
    *drones on for 7 hours*
    ....and anyway, this girl in my class yelled out that she had GTA: Vice City. And, my sister plays a large amount of RPG's.

    I think its an unfair stereotype, myself, but statistically, more guys are into video games than girls. Thankfully there are a decent number of hardcore female gamers. :)

    Girls are sometimes alot skillful than us boys / men at games. I played MK4 with a girlfriend...she beat me arse...


    Humilation? ....Very true indeed. Not that we played a bloody, grosteque game. She knew all the fatalitys of the characther, Sub Zero :bleed:

    i think that mk1,2,3,4 suck because its hard to learn great moves for the characters. my little bro keeps kicking my *** with scorpion and his weird"get over hear" move. it like sends a rope or some thing after you and makes you unconius thats why i think it sucks:anger2:

    I don't like Mk games that much either, lol the only move i used to do is that 'get over here move' as well, that was so lame but effective. I much prefer streetfighter *Hado-ken*

    the "come over hear move" is called SPEAR

    and I prefer CAPCOM games

    none of my friends of the female sex play games. they all think games and anime are dumb, but it doesnt bother me. im still friends with them
