Computers Ghetto Ram sinks that works

OK... i admit my first experiment... the toothpaste thing..
was a mess.. sure it worked and all.. but the CPU wasn't so cool
Toothpaste - normaly around the 42~45'c
AS ceramic - around 37~38'c

It was minty though... and no... no ants in my PC

OK, we are goin to talk about making our own Ramsinks...

what's a are RAMsinks?
they are heatsinks for your RAM

Materials you'll need

around.... a 5 coins per ram chip (have to before 1982)
why before 1982? cause after that year pennies are only 5% cooper
a bottle of krazy glu or super glue
and thermal paste, duh...

First... CLEAN those pennies... years beeing in the streets, the oxide and get awfully dirty.
how to deoxide them... pure lemon use, gotten STRAIGHT from the lemon, grocery stuff doesn't cut it.
Vinegar and Baking soda combined are good too

ok...
after cleaning the pennies... cover oone side of it with the thermal paste...
and stack them, please don't make a column, that would kill the porpuse of the ramsink. |l|l| <-- like that, not like this--> |||||
ok what that would do is create the fins.. the fins are to increase the air contact area.

after you stack the first 5 pennies.. theyre like this l|l|l put pressure on top of stack to compress the coins and the thermal paste... and apply a bit of krazyblock on opposite sides of the "ramsink" please on the sides that are solid, not the parrt where the fins are created.
THERE!! you got your first ramsink, now do it.. 4 or 8 times, depending how many chips your Vid card has

ok.. time to mount them on your video card.
pull the video card out, and apply thermal paste into the chipclear a little piece of the memory chip and put a small portion of krazy glu and put the ramsink into position, and hold it in position for about about a minute, till the krazy glu had solidified a bit.
repeat again 4 to 8 times...
THERE! you saved about 29$ for bought ramsinks
they do work... mine get hot, if they get hot there doin there work.
