Art girl...waiting...

    well..this a a pic i drew of a girl waiting for sumthing, sumone, sumperson...wutever you want it to be. took about 2 hours. scribbled a background just for the sake of having one. shes suppose to be in front of a coffe shop or tapioca drink shop er sumthing.
    emm dont have a scanner, this is a digital camera picture. thus it is darker and not as good quality and yadda yadda yadda. and..i cant draw feet or shoes. too difficult. haha

    yea I think you're right the shoes need alittle work but ehy I can't make those either! :) I love the way you drew her shirt and skirt the faces looks great too..I am so used to seeing non backgrounded pictures of manga/anime from what I see looks like you're having fun ehy

    Ah, the "waiting girl" theme, huh? I have my own pic of a girl who kinda looks like she's waiting around, but very different from your drawing. I might post it someday.

    Youre drawing is ok, but the legs are very long while the arms are very short. If her arms were to hang straight down, they should be able to reach past her skirt. That's just a lil pointer.

    pointers pointers... minjigga needs pointers ;) :D

    okay think of this as good critics (please)

    1- looks a bit stiff, it's understandable she is pissed off waiting for someone
    2- legs @_@ as the image was downloading i thought they were jeans
    3-yes.. short arm...
    4-way flat chested (for my taste ^_^;;;)
    5-hair ok cause it's abreviatted realism (tried to draw much detail as possible, with that is understandable you draw the eyes over the hair, too make them stand out
    6- eyes are ok
    7- nose needs to be either bolder or a "point" but this is up to artists taste
    8- EYELASHES!!! this is the part were you see most of her expression, this is the secret to making them (drawings) come alive
    9-ears? you drew them? right? ^_~;
    10-don't know what more

    Don't take me wrong... This the way a friend of mine polished me. *cough* *luvweaver* *cough* Anyway you'll be better and better after each drawing

    its alrite, there are better ones, and at the same time, there are worse ones. id give it a 7 out of 10

    gracias. ill werk on the arm length. and the legs. can sumone tell me what to do with the legs. im kinda lost there. like how to make them look more...realistic?
