Movies Gladiator!

I just saw that movie. Yeah, I know, I'm a little late, but it was a great movie. I was actually close to tears at the end. I mean, I even felt sorry for teh whiny little moron. I mean all he ever wanted was to be loved... *cough* loser *cough* Everyone seemed so human...
Anyway, what did yall think of it?

i don't know if i was touched but i thought it was a great movie!!! At first i thought it would suck but it turned out to be great!!!i think its better than the Patriot, you know the one with mel gibson.

 

i didn't like it that much i thought it could have been a lot better. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon should have one the oscar that year instead of Gladiator.

 

It was only so so. I'm probably biased cos I don't like Russel Crowe.
As soon as he said "On my command, unleash hell" that put me off the movie. What an awful line.
There was some kick *** action it it. You can't fault it on that. But that's it really.
I didn't find any of the characters likable at all.

 

I don't think you were really supposed to like teh characters. The movie was a little distant, but true...

Btw, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is a disgrace in my opinion.... do any of you guys actually take martial arts?

 

I know it's off topic, but come on you gotta back that up with a real reason.

 

I liked the way they made Rome seem gray and lifeless instead of vibrant,helped with the dramatics of the film.

 

great movie, i love the ending.

 

I love that movie.*Sniff* the music is great and the fight scenes have just enough gore to make them seem real. I was so happy at the end because he got to be with his family and that horrible emperor died YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
