Music Glorious, Glorious RAMMSTEIN

Rammstein I think is the BEST international band I have ever heard..and i posted this to hear other peoples opinions...so..uhh I guess you post now! xD

 

Funny thing I find is my friends... they listen to Rammstein.. and I ask them, what's so great about them... figures the response I get is "They sing in German!".

Whoopedy frickin' doo. ;P

But there all "metal"-heads and **** anyways... Slipknot, Mudvayne, Rammstein, all that crap. One of them even still listens to Metallica and ****. >: I don't know, I seem to be the only one in the group that doesn't. ;P

No Rammstein or any of that crap for me, just good ole' Sonic Youth.

Ha, that is like saying I play Xenosaga because it has a German title. My advice, slap them in the face. And to get myself on topic, Never heard 'em. ._.;;

 

You can't clump Rammstein, Slipknot and Mudvayne into one catogory(even if that catogory is 'sh!t'). Rammstein is industrial, Slipknot is nu, and Mudvayne is math (metal at the end of all of those). And I'm not sure on this one, but are calling Metallica 'sh!t' too, or am I reading incorrectly?

As for me, I like Rammstein well enough....they aren't my favorite(Du Hast, you're so overplayed! And you're a poor song!), but then again, I don't delve deep into industrial. NIN, KMFDM, Ministry, Devin Townsend...that's about it.

 

Nine Inch Nails is so great. Mudvayne isn't ****. Sure they're Nu-Metalish but if you listen to their music it's pretty complex. The Bass riffs are difficult to play at times (I play bass) and the drumming is excellent. Sometimes I like to think of their most complex music as Meshuggah-lite. Metallica WAS good. But even then they still took Dave Mustaine's riffs... The best international bands are

Opeth
Devin Townsend Band
Pain Of Salvation
Meshuggah

There are more but I can't think of them...

^^ Rammstein is one of the greatest international bands, next to Orgy. And yes, one reason I like them is because they sing in German! My favorite song by them is at the moment "Engel".

I think Rammstein is awesome!!!! I think they are the best international band also.

 

Have any of you heard of Mega Herz? They are awesome. My bro just introduced that band when he listened to the song "Ohne Dich"
