I got a letter from my school today congratulating me for being in the top 15% at the university. And they seem to want me to join some kind of club or group that only those with high marks can be in. Sure it sounds like something good to have on a resume, but also a bit stuck up :s I'd also have to fork over quite a bit of cash to join too.. so this is something I would only do it if I would get scholarships from it I guess.

But, if you ask me the people who really deserve the rewards aren't the ones who sit there and study excessively. But, the ones who work 3 jobs while still studying full time like some of the people I know. Sure they might not get the best marks but their stamina and effort is impressive.

  2. True very true. marks mean somthing to some level but to the effort put in is what really matters or should matter to the university or so on in later life.

I know.. the things that count could never be recorded as numbers. Dunno if I'll go into this group anyways, I have a feeling my gpa is going to drop this year since it'll be unholy by the sound of it. Enough school talk.. I need to party.
