Video Games Good online multiplayer games?

Anyone know any good free ones? I'ev gotten tired of playing Ragnarok and Gunbound all the time so I'm looking for a new game for me and my friends.

If you know one, can you post up the site?

 

The new Counter Stirke you get with HL2 is pretty good, we've been playing it in college none stop.

Unreal Tournament 2004 is a personal favorite of mine.

Also Enemy Territory was another game that we played a lot in college last year. I beleive you can download it, but i'm not sure.

Dark Age of Camelot - Massive MMORPG. It's good, but it would cost ya. Worth every penny. All my mates are inside playing that game and have been doing that for a loooong time now.

And if you are patient, wait for World of WarCraft. I have played the Beta Test version at a friends house and man....it's SO good.

Other than that...erm...get Priston Tale. Pretty ok MMORPG, which is still free, I think. I used to play it, but I just got fed up with it.

I would recommend Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory which is one of the best teamwork FPS's around from my view. A newly made TCElite patch which features modern warfare (counterterrorist/terrorist) is rather decent, imo can compete with CS itself. Besides, it's 100% free... a must see.

Battlefield series, want to use vehicles? look no further, hugely fun...

Call of Duty. This is the best WWII FPS ever. I've played it for about nine months now, and it's still one of my favorite games.

 

To those posting non-MMORPG:

Look at the topic people, he said MMORPGs. We're not looking for shooters...we want MMORPGs. And yes, I know Gunbound is not an RPG.

Either my new glasses are worse then the ones i just replaced yesterday or i can't see anything saying in the first post asking for MMORPGs only. Granted most of the ones mentioned aren't free, but hell they're ones that are worth parting some money for.

 

My apologizes, I should have read better. As you can see though, we usually play online games that have a cartoony feel. It makes it alot funner. Thats why I'd never play games like Everquest and or CS(hate it, hate most shooters in general). Also, something free...we're cheap people...well except Jam when it comes to buying anime....I think....argh >_<

 

My vote goes for World of Warcraft. Very addicting but fun.

X-Box: Halo 2
PS2: Soccom II
GameCube: Wait, wha!?
PC: Halo PC, or Worldcraft III (since i have yet to play World Warcraft...)

I wish i had more money...that way i get to test more games. But simply there, those are some good games i like to just sit back, put on my headset (on most of the games), and *deep voice* start...killing...everyone....

if you go to www.battleon.com there is an awesome (though it has horrible graphics an all you really do is fight monsters) RPG called Adventure Quest. It is free and the trial lasts forever and you can also upgrade your account if you want. I play it all the time and i have to say that i am addicted. They have special events all the time too, but some things are only for gaurdians (people who paid $14.95 U.S. to get all the extras). Overall though i have to say it is pretty fun and it runs well when you set the graphics quality to low....
