Celebrations Goodbye

I'm just a newbie here. But I would at least like a passing message before I leave this site for good.

I think that too many cooks spoil the broth, or, in this case, too many moderators all competing with each other to close the most threads spoil the forums.
Loads of people recommended M2A to me. Especially my sister. But after only a few posts every now and again i saw the problem. There are far too many moderators here. And they seem a little too into their jobs.
The main problem is of course spamming. I'm against spam myself and yet there seems to be some sort of anti-spam-system-gone-wrong thing going on. A thread can be closed due to either non-existent or accidental spam. And the "offending" users are humiliated by others and called "spammers". Not only is this controlling and unfair, it's ruining the enjoyment of the site. Many of us secretly hold a grudge against the moderators. And yes, they've kept this place from becoming nothing but porno chat. But they've taken it from there and turned this place into a bootcamp. There's an obsession wth spam spiralling around this whole darn place! A forum can exist with the ocassional spam. And the moderators here are taking advantage of their authority in every way possible.
My final message is just to say that this forum needs vast improvements. Removing half of the stick-up-the-@$$ moderators would be a good start. Forums CAN survive with ten moderators. But here they all like to sit around expanding and deleting posts and frankly I'm sick of it.
Oh, and i'm going to predict what you do next! You will delete this post and feel so self-satifised that you have to power to delete stuff. Then you'll go on and on about how I'm a moany newbie. Well GOOD FOR YOU! 'Cause you know what? You're moany moderators. Not to mention crap ones. I can delete stuff in my computer but i don' get all smug about it. It's a shame that a moderator does no real work anymore. a little anti-spam warning, and a little post-deleting and they've got it made. Oh, and making newbies feel like dirt is one of your specialities. WATCH THE MODERATOR DELETE THIS POST!

Oh, so what do you want us to do ? Sit back and watch how the boards get overramped with idiotic posts and ads? Maybe we should try that someday, and not do a ****. We mods work hard, face it. There have been past incidents where users spam the boards, posting numerous ads, and even some user who team up and spam this place up. That's why some mods act strict due to the fact that they are fed up with those posts.

If you say that we are moany, than how come we have over thousands of users and the majority believe in our job?

Do whatever you like, I really don't give a ****.

I have to agree on with everything Neph said.
Dont be quick to judge, are mods here rule with
a tough yet just ruling, and since we are
expanding, we need lot of people to take care
of the site- so cut the mods some slack, they
do a great job on mod-ing around.
