    AFAIK this is not possible. Well, not without help.
    Beg an empreror to add your preferred avatar to the list. But then you wouldn't be using one that's not on the list..

    Is there any way to organize the avatars alphabetically and be able to search for them ^___^x it'd be a bit easier to find the ones I'm looking for... I'm okay with the way it is now though, it's just a bit tedious but I must perservere and not be lazy... >.<

    To answer the original question...yes, you can have an Avatar that "isn't on the list"...better known as "Custom Avatars"...

    Cloud has one, Meaikoh has one, Sachiko has one....

    But, they can't be changed from the user control panel. So, if you have an Avatar you'd really like to have, you have to make a special request to your local Admin....sending along the Av in question...:)

    Our collection is extensive, almost at 1000 pics...but if you'd really prefer something different, by all means....

    As for the question of sorting, I would second the motion...unfortunately, myself has no idea how to implement it from where I sit... let's wait until we have our resident doctor return on that....:p

    Its true that there are many cool avatars for me to choose, but none as cool as Tekkaman Blade. At least in my humble opinion.

    I would suppose that you'd like to have that one, ak1t0?

    To further note, the size restrictions are 64 x 64... other than that your submitted image might not look as good as you intended...

    A bit small, but the stretch job isn't too bad from 50x50... I'll set you up with it next time I'm on a faster connection...:)

    I do a lot of image resizing.
    So, I thought I'd resize Ak1t0's pic. It's 64*64 now and looking fine
    (with a black border of course)

    This one's zoomed in a little more. No fiar of you to give me a pic where the borders for the icons aren't already decided! Just had to resize with ak1t0's, with this one I had to decide where to crop :D
