Movies GREAT NEWS !!! More Pirates!!!

I cant wait till the sequels are released!! :anime:
Any thoughts on what the sequels will revolve around? New villain? or does Jack and Will spend the entire movie trying to find that darn monkey...

 

I liked the first one a LOT and I mean LOT so I can only hope that they make the sequels just as good

Am I the only one being optimistic about this? Im excited to see more of Johnny Depp as Captain Sparrow. He did a great job acting as the slighty mentally unstable pirate

I really look forward to the sequels and HOPE that they are as good as the first one but it seems that the most sequels are worse

I was so happy when i heard this hapened! 2 of my favorite guys in the world (one of them being my future husband <wink wink>) The last movie was so hilarious!

 

mmmm....i not sure i want a sequel, the movie was great and i dont want some stupid sequel to ruin it....

 

wow. 2 more to come? I like the 1st one very much & haven't got enuff of it. heh heh. but the ending of the 1st one seems good enuff. no hint of a sequel. wonder wht they'll think of next.....

But I heard J. Depp was going to be in a remake of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Won't he be busy?

 

COOL MAN! I thought that Johnny Depp was the person that made the first movie. As long as Johnnys character stays the same then it should be as good as the first. I loved that bit at the end when he says 'You will always remember this day as the day that you almost........' And then he falls over the side of the cliff. I was on the floor for ten minutes laughing.

i loved the first movie it was soooo cool.....
even tough orlando didn't do much in it ......
i hope there is more of captain sparrow HE ROCKED!!!!!!

Personally, I reckon the second film will revolve around Elizabeth and Will Turner searching for "Bootstrap" Bill Turner. After all, if he took a coin from the box, then he can't die, even if he sinks to the bottom of the ocean, he can just pull himself together, and walk till he reaches land.

Also, there is the whole issue of what will now happen to Will Turner Junior, as he has proclaimed himself a pirate, will he now join the crew of the Black Pear, and carry Elizabeth of with him, or will he quietly support Jack from his smithy, and marry Elizabeth.

As for Jack, I'd say he'll be more of a supporting character tbh, as there's not really much left undone for him. He has his ship back, and a loyal crew. Most of his characters time will more than likely be taken up with a love interest. This is unfortunately a shame, as he was the best character in the first one. His zany, and savvy character, with accompanying hand gestures, and slightly insane and over the top mindset made the film.

Any more theories on where the second/third films will go?

 

Yes. The black pear. Hehehe, yep that's it. Captain Jack Sparrow BETTER not be a side character! *roar* I just hope they don't mess this up. ;_; Before you know it there will be a movie about the teacup ride at disneyland.
