Cowboy Bebop Gren: Herm or Man with Boobs?

Okay, here's the skinny..... Me and my buds Ashely and Steph are having a tussle about Gren's orientation.

Steph and Ashley seem to think that Gren is a full blown hermaphrodite. They said they both took sex ed and paid close attention and know it for a fact.

I think that he is simply a man with boobs. As he said himself, he was thrown into prison after the war on Titan. He was forced to take experimental drugs and became addicted. And also, as he said, his hormones went out of whack and thus he has boobs now.

I have speculated on this, but they disagree. So, I told them i was going to make a poll here and see what you people think is closer to the truth.

It's up to you.

 

I think your friends are dumb. He's a guy with boobies. Says so in the series, and that's the only way it's possible to know. Logic here people.
I didn't realise sex ed covered being a hermaphrodite so exstensively to be honest(if I used smilies, I'd use one of those sarcstic lookin' sonsof*****es here).

i think he's just a man wit bobbies... in other words... he has man boobs! :anime: i wouldnt say that im a BIG fan of Bebop... but i have seen the Bebop movie so yeah... anywayz... when i first saw Gren i thought he waz kinda cute :catgirl: then i found that he had boobs! i like his face but the boobs are a little 2 much... :sad: oh well....

 

He's just a guy with boobs. A hemaphrodite implies that your a little of both sexes, but boobs aren't the thing that makes someone a hermaphrodite. So unless he grew some ovaries with his boobs, he is still a man.

 

Like everyone else has said, he's a guy with boobs as the result of an expiriment while he was in jail. They make that pretty clear in the two episodes he was in. Your friends either haven't watched those two eps with him in it very closely, or they just don't agree with it. Everyone has their own oppinion, I suppose. ;;

Gren is a man with (cough) breasts. Vicious gave him a pill and it did something to his hormones. I think that is what it said in the series.

 

umm yep Coldhearted that some what to it actuallly what happened it that he went to prison and they was trying a new hormone pill on the inmates thats what changed him....side note i put up that he was a man with boobies
