Video Games guess

Damnit, I could have answered Operation Flashpoint, but I never check this thread because all the pictures are of obscure (to me) old console RPGs lol. OpFlash is a great game, and totally unappreciated. Everyone raves about the vehicles etc in BF1942 and acts like Flashpoint didn't exist. I suppose it was too brutally realistic with the one shot one kill and iron sights for most of the CS addled gamer demographic. Or buggy lol

Stumped on the current one.. not Shadow Warrior (or anything sprite based) not quite Serious Sam.. doesn't look like Quake.. I don't recognize that weapon at all and I play a lot of FPS. Oh well.

 

A bad thing about that FPS is that it had " bucket of bugs "

I was in Germany when that came out.. managed to miss it. Half Life overshadowed it somewhat as well.

Honestly, I have no idea what game that is, MO, but the guy looks like Kevin Sorbo, so I'm going to take an absolute stab in the dark and guess something along the lines of Andromeda.

 

Aw.. and I was sure I could hold this thread up as proof that I really do kill threads..

Your guess is surprisingly close to the mark.. When Andromeda came out a lot of fans of the game thought the series looked cool because it reminded them of the game

So, not Andromeda, but something similar.

Surely someone has played Privateer, the classic Origin game set in the Wing Commander universe..

Unlike the Wing Commander games, in Privateer you are your own boss, buying ships and upgrades, and being a pirate or merchant or whatever. Probably the only game from back then that I can still stand playing

So, either I stumped the crowd, or killed the thread. Whichever..
