Anime Gungrave Questions

Two quick questions about this fantastic Mafia/Zombie anime:

1) How many episodes are planned and....

2) What time and day does it air in Japan?

Really enjoying it so far, i've gotten as far as episode 18. That was the only episode I didn't enjoy so far. The main reason being its basically episode 1, but with a few scenes changed. There is a good enough reason for doing it, but it could still have been avoided tbh.

I recommed you check out the first 2 episodes. Episode 1 is completely gun action, and fairly cheesy, however from episode 2 - 17 it completely changes direction, pace, and pretty much everything. This is because, just like Berserk episode 1 is set in the present, and the following episode show the events leading up to this, Episode 1 of Gungrave is set in the present, and up to no. 17 its explaining the events that lead up to the events of episode 1. It revolves around 2 main characters Brandon Heat and Harry McDowell, best friends on the rise in the ranks of the mafia, how they become accepted into the "Family" and how ambition can twist a person completely. It makes for excellent watching, and even though you now from episode 1 that Harry betrays Brandon, it still comes as a shock when it happens. The characters and dialog are well written, the animation is top notch, and everything goes well together, I can't recommend this anime hightly enough.
