Out of extreme boredome, I found myself this morning downloading large amounts of music by GWAR. This band is odd, to say the least. They seem to blend elements of punk and metal to create something that can either be really good or the absolute bottom of the barrel, depending on the song.
Lyrically, they range from "let's see how many people we can offend" to "let's see how many people we can make laugh" to "we really don't have anything to say in this song, so the lyrics are really just filler".
I think this band is kind of hit-or-miss. What does everyone else think?

By the way, GWAR was featured in the old Beavis and Butthead game for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, if that matters to anyone. And they always dress up like idiots.

I personally like Gwar, and for those who wish to maybe check out the group, I recommend:
GWAR - I Hate Love Songs
    GWAR - The Road Behind

Cool, another slave (in a Gwar sense only, of course).
I would recommend Sick of You. It's my personal favourite.
